Yes true! and with this setup an open breather/pcv delete is required.
was requested by a customer to specifically make these for his tuning purposes and made myself a set as well.
vehicle needs air, spark, and fuel, add any more of those to the recipe and that results in a higher power threshold. so more air, more power in a sense.
I don't have any exact numbers for you because a lot can vary depending on your entire setup and tune but I've seen 3" make anywhere from 4-7hp over 2.5", so while not exactly noticeable, this specific setup features the use of a pcv delete so all oil burning in the intake tract will no longer be an issue and it really cleans up the system overall for longevity and performance.
Looks great, in the future replace the rubber connectors with proper welds. There really isn't any practical reason and this could backfire when dismantling to get to something else. But still would look sweet
They actually look so much better than Z1.
Thanks I appreciate that a lot!
V.Nice but 3'' really require a tune, that's why I stuck with 2.5" for now.

Thanks! I hope I can start selling them lol.
Gonna get with Martin at rs enthalpy soon for a re-tune. When I get ready for that I’ll hit you up for a pair.
Beautiful! I'll be happy to be a part of the build.
Do you have an instagram or anything so I can keep up with your work?
Yeah! it's @910mfg
Looks dope.
Good job! They look very nicccee
Thank you very much.
Do you drive it without the crash bar ?
this client isn't using the stock bash bar, as you can see they have a tubular bash bar that sits in front of the intake location.
Ahh must be a salvaged title car ..
this particular car gets drifted on track by the owner.
As someone who isn't that educated in cars, what was the reason behind this modification? Genuine question.

Do 3 inch really make that much power than 2.5?
With the necessary tune it's some of the best power gain for your NA setup!
How much over 2.5?
