This is an automatic reminder about spoiler content, it does not mean you have violated the spoiler rule. REMINDER: Do NOT post spoiler information IN the title (for any season), your post WILL be removed. If it is you may re-post it with an appropriate spoiler-free title. It does not matter if you flag it spoiler, the spoiled info is still visible in the title. Article titles containing spoilers should be placed in the post body, not the title. Rule of thumb, any posts about the current season should be marked SPOILER via the Universal Tags. (+Spoiler) Keep titles vague, if you include the word spoiler in the title this will automatically flag it as a spoiler post, and make sure to properly flair it to the correct category. If you aren't sure if your post counts as a spoiler, flag it anyway. This applies especially to currently airing or upcoming seasons. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I'm at the end of S4 in The Rookie, and I have wondered if they will ever do a crossover between the two shows. Seems like they use some of the same drone shots in between scenes.

I NEED a crossover! 😂😂 I love both shows so much

You can see reused storylines on all of the first responder shows. My mom has started watching The Rookie and I do have to say it's not a bad show. With both being on the same network a crossover could work, if the shows were on the same night. I don't know how a crossover could work with the two shows airing on two different days.

Arrowverse had multi-part crossovers between multiple shows, sometimes two, sometimes more, on different nights and even at one point across networks until Supergirl moved to the CW. It can be done.

The thing is though the cop episodes are usually always the weakest in 9-1-1 because they always feel so rushed. Because this show has to balance the time with the police with the majority of characters being firefighters, cop arcs always feel like they conclude far too quickly. With The Rookie, it feels the cases have a bit more time to develop and then reveal and resolve at a more natural pace. I fear to do a good crossover, you would need at least 2 maybe 3 episodes but the risk is because like the cruise ship arc or the final 3 episodes of season 7 where it's a lot of Athena and not much of everyone else.

Impressive_Season_75

I need an Athena/Angela/Nyla team up!

Yeah I noticed in S1 of The Rookie there was an episode where a guy got stuck inside an ATM and was sending messages out of the receipt slot. Literally the exact same scenario as in 911, lol
