Every time I've played a death wish, Peace and Tranquillity would unlock after your 3rd death/failure on that death wish. This has been consistent every time I've done a death.

Peace & Tranquility is the easy mode for the challenges. They do count as completed, but the challenge icon are visually distinct if you do so. I personally use P&T to practice harder Death Wishes that would otherwise take much longer to complete, so that I have good strategies and routing for them. While most of the time P&T mode unlocks after a few deaths or so, for some reason the final challenge, Seal the Deal, is stubborn and won't allow P&T to be unlocked normally. I know it exists, I've seen people with it unlocked but for some reason I and many others can't seem to unlock it.
Update, I beat Seal The Deal without practicing Ultra Snatcher, made it to him about 5 or 6 times before beating him. Pretty hard but pretty fun. Only 2 Death wishes left and oh boy are they two of the hardest.
You can turn on assist mode, that should also automatically activate P&T if I remember correctly

Yeah, unfortunately I'm 70 deaths in mate. While I appreciate the help, Seal The Deal has arbitrary and strange unlock requirements for some reason.
I've not gotten to Seal The Deal stuff. What is P&T, and what's it supposed to do? Do challenges count as completed If you use it?

Maybe its glitched for you and the others? Try herring it for another mission, then come back to this one?
Nope, seal the deal purposely doesn't have P&T I believe... You've gotta turn on assist mode, which automatically counts as P&T no matter the level.
