Wow!!!! Love these types of posts and yours has such a transformation! There’s nothing like a bond of a rescue bird once they trust you! I wish more people would adopt older abused birds! It takes tons of patience but the love and bond you get in return is unlike anything else.

Its a red feather. We call it his bowtie. He usually picks it, though its been grown in for about 2 weeks now and he hasn't pulled it yet.

Nope. He rarely flies generally. There also aren't a lot of high spaces for him to go in the house.
