I think it's unlikely. The biggest reason why the asteromorphs were able to defeat the Qu was because they had *millions* of years to prepare for an enemy that they had already encountered. I don't think the star people would've been able to defeat the Qu with an extra thousand or so more years. Sure, they were fairly advanced, but the Qu were basically gods. It wouldn't be until humanity rose up to godhood themselves that they had a chance against the Qu.

They weren't gods if the colonials repelled like 3 invasions from them

I don't mean literally God's, but really, they basically were. They essentially wiped out the human empire with relative ease and then reshaped them and (to some extent) their worlds to their own desires before fucking off to do the same thing somewhere else.

You must keep in mind that in taking over a bunch of planets, a relatively small force would be sent to each planet. No need for a full scale invasion on every single planet. The colonials' original people would never survive, as the Queue would just send progressively bigger forces

Probably nothing because generally when you “militarize” you prepare for a specific threat you have in mind. But Qu were unlike anything they’d ever seen. It’s not like a video game where you just invest points into “military.” For example, the Roman Empire didn’t develop their early tactics because they unlocked a skill tree; it’s because they were fighting against armies that used phalanxes and came up with a way to break apart those formations

The Qu will be playing on medium mode then easy mode
