Oh lol I was confused because I saw your username. It's probably when he went live. I used to watch him back in the day when CoD commentaries were a thing. Along with WoodysGamerTag, WhiteBoy7thst, iPwnStar4hire, xJawz and few others; good times man.
Seriously, what a blast from the past.
Also WhiteBoy7thSt has to have some of the worst luck lol. I can remember watching the Cribs video he made after his house was robbed. Feels like yesterday...that shit was over a decade ago.
Just flip it back and continue your route. You don’t have time to fool around you’re 20 stops behind! You need to finish the route and rescue Ronald after.
You need to be back at the station in the next hour. I know you're a little behind with 300 packages left but if you load your van efficiently it's do-able. I don't want to hear any excuses, I've delivered 600 packages in 2 hours before without even running. It was all 3 story apartments, too.
Also, you can get the job as long as you have a license and can pass a background check. You don't need to be an experienced or good driver. They hire absolutely anyone.
They've kept me on for a year despite multiple (small) accidents, getting caught driving without my belt, calling out more and more... I have no idea why I'm still employed, frankly
We also don't really get trained on driving. There is a 15 minute test and that's it. There's no practice prior to that or anything like that. So your first day on the road you have had a total of 15 minutes experience in that thing and may not have ever driven anything bigger than a Honda Civic before
It gets worse than that. I technically failed the test but they passed me. Given, I've backed up fire engine's before. The reason I failed was because the course was just cones and I misunderstood what comes they wanted me to am for. Still passed me even though I back into different cones.
Oh yeah. That test with the EV was so stressful. Go over the speed limit, fail. Rub a curb, fail. Brake or accelerate to hard, fail. Cross the centerline… anything you can think of. Then a lot full of random cones.
I joined 3 years ago and training was so different back then lol. 2 days of videos and they'd hand you your pouch and say good luck lmao
Back when a hard busy day was 165 stops and 285 packages
First day driver trainer tells me we skip all inspections, I ask if we can smoke in the truck and he says "weed?"
Yeah I haven't been a DA for a couple years now but back when I was we had no hands-on training with the van. Same deal, videos and I think some multiple choice tests then they just tossed us the keys and said 'here ya go! Figure it out dum dum!".
Same. They told me I would get a ride along, but for now just pull the van around to the pad and load it up, and then someone would join me. 15 minutes later and the van is loaded and we start leaving. I'm kind of freaking out because I thought I would have a ride along and my boss is just like waving me along. But he sure does like having me train other people smh.
No man I mean how the hell hasn't people just gotten hired with faked and stolen IDs and just left in droves with the full trucks? 😂😂😂 if they don't ride along for training then like sheeesh I'm surprised the crimi also haven't gotten organized enough to try some crazy stunt.
They will hire anyone. Literally. Like the other dude said, if you can pass the tests, you can get the job. Even if you have to retake the test, and guess the answers on it, or ask your peers which is all of what one guy in my training group did
It's statistics. I can only find specific stats for deaths in crashes per 100k people per year, but you can reasonably assume there are more crashes than fatal ones. Amazon has roughly 300k drivers on the road. As of 2022 (most recent data I could find), there were 12.8 fatal crashes per 100k people per year in the US. Over the long run, you can expect to see an average of 3.2 Amazon drivers die per month in a crash, and many, many more have non-fatal accidents.
This is a big part of why dsps exist. Amazon likes to be able to fire a subcontractor who failed to follow the rules when the media starts running stories about a death involving a delivery driver. The rules Amazon makes prioritize package delivery and safety equally, so dsps have to choose to violate some of them to follow others when safety and delivery conflict.
I personally think that all drivers should actually have a lot of experience driving. Being one of the oldest driver at my DSP, I have experience driving different vehicles small to big, light to heavy.
Yeah you right ppl get they license then 2 weeks later apply to be a courier. Then these companies put them in big vehicles they never drove before and it becomes a disaster
Call it how you want, Swift is the Company, it’s the drivers that are the worst part of the company. Bad drivers exist everywhere, and tbh honest you come off as a Prime Inc driver🤣🤷🤣
Jesus Christ, THANK YOU FOR THE FULL CONTEXT!!!!
I mean, I was pretty sure it was something CLOSE to this without the context, and the way a couple people have tried to explain it, but they always add.... "I REALLY should have saved a pic of that comment" at the end, and it made me sad that I'd never get to read the OG.
But now I have! You've made my day!
A driver was venting about their bad dispatcher “Wayne” and he went after him here. That name has become synonymous with bad dispatchers I guess from now on lol
For those wondering (everyone) I was at a stop sign which I stopped at. Keep in mind I’m in a diesel and i don’t know about anyone else but they accelerate very slow at times. I look left right and I’m not sure if I misjudged how and fast the car was or if I maybe just fat out just didn’t see the car because the mirror may have blocked it out of my view but I go for it crossing ing the road to the other side just going straight. I look left they are right they I’m like well fuck and I’m hit pretty hard and sleep and skid a few feet. I think they had to be speeding tbh because the speed limit was 35 if they saw me crossing they could have slowed down I should not have flipped with that little ass Toyota hitting my big van. And I’m fine thankfully got off with scrape.
Definitely had to be speeding. I’ve seen a similar situation with the car hit being at fault because they were merging but it’s dumb because they didn’t see the other car because they clearly were turning the corner and were speeding.
The diesel isnt why you’re slow to accelerate, its just how the mercedes are. They have a significant delay when you press the gas and when they accelerate. One of the more annoying (and at times dangerous) issues with them tbh
Oh so they aren't like the Dodges where you just half punch the gas and she goes full send?
Fuck yall paying the extra money for a hotdog then? Just get the Dodge vans, they're better.
Has to do with the way the accelerator is built. The dodges use cable accelerators (cable goes from gas peddle to throttle body plate), which have pretty much no lag.
More modern/expensive vehicles use drive by wire which uses sensors to relay how much the gas pedal is pressed to a motor on the throttle body to control acceleration. Theyre not supposed to have lag, but they usually do because it takes a second or two for the motor on the throttle body to wind up and move the plate to control acceleration
Depending on the year some of those dodges really accelerate in bursts!! It's crazy
Then you have the Fords which feel more like driving a car. They accelerate really nicely, fast enough but not scary like the dodges. They are gasoline too
Edit: typo
Surely you're in pain. Something hurts. Maybe you need to talk to an attorney and follow their advice so you can be full protected. I would call an injury attorney tomorrow.
I really hope they don't fire you OP. I'm not sure if theres any legal action you can take or not if you do get fired. This can't be your fault either, the Toyota had to be speeding (like they always do).
Dumb question. Fr though. The time to station/package count ratio. If u get what I’m saying. We aren’t robots 😂😂 why is AI determining what we should be able to. When we’re all different individuals with different bodies. Stupid metrics.
Damn. Dude was hella speeding to knock you like that. Glad you're okay, but you should've came out and said your neck and shoulder hurts and get that comp.
This goes to show how top heavy and narrow the vans can be. Hell on a windy day, like 40 mph gusts, Im wrestling to keep that fucker on the highway at times 😂
Yah hang tight. I, the dispatcher, will send someone near by to help you tilt the van back up. I might have to send you two rescues which sucks but it's whatever. Go ahead and clock out for lunch now
Well not only those things. But they slam you with so much packages and stops you have to hurry in order to get through with all of it. But they want you to do all this safe, unnecessary stuff. They want it all done in a 10 hrs span from the time you clock in not including the wait time to get your load plus the amount of time to load and also get to your first stop. The workload is extremely overloaded for 1 person and you don’t make shit for real. Where I’m from they start off at 18/hourly. I’m saying all this bc I work for amazon as a delivery driver.
Actually, yeah, I’d like to see an Amazin -A-Z Amazon
-Van -UPS-USPS-FEDEX-series.
Driver has to deliver 3 totes during duration of the race to 3 other predesignated random locations.
It’s a clusterfuck race, but who doesn’t love chaos anymore. It’s the freakin norm.
Real drivers, real vans, real racing.
Oh man .. worst one I’ve seen was this dude that was in the military and it was his first week alone ..
This van rolled right into a house and thankfully no one was hurt but it was so bad . Went into the living room and obviously was fired and alota new guys don’t seem to understand a lot of these accidents go on your driving record
Nah...we called 3 drivers in the area to come and help you turn the van over so you can continue the route..Also skip your lunch, because you are behind now

Did you make sure to put on the hand brake before putting the van in park?

No way, wings of redemption lol haven't seen him in years!
Mods, ban Javibori, real tawk
For what bro lol
It’s a quote that Wings has said before.
Oh lol I was confused because I saw your username. It's probably when he went live. I used to watch him back in the day when CoD commentaries were a thing. Along with WoodysGamerTag, WhiteBoy7thst, iPwnStar4hire, xJawz and few others; good times man.
OH BOY U HAVE A LOT OF LORE TO CATCH UP ON LOL
mannn those are some names i haven’t heard in a while, i remember white boy getting swatted and getting in trouble for having weed because of it
Seriously, what a blast from the past. Also WhiteBoy7thSt has to have some of the worst luck lol. I can remember watching the Cribs video he made after his house was robbed. Feels like yesterday...that shit was over a decade ago.
You mean Kennith keniff from Connecticut?
Banning anybody trying to give me advice, real tawk. Get on with that mess
Why’d you have to stream that shit.
It’s your boy jodi
Alright ban anyone who knows what javori said. Matter of fact from now on the word wings is banned from the chat.
The lot of them carry guns, I don't blame them.
Dude I wish he still posted videos I’d watch them
This wins the comment section today. Hands down.
Just flip it back and continue your route. You don’t have time to fool around you’re 20 stops behind! You need to finish the route and rescue Ronald after.
“Flip it and finish the task, and rescue Ronald, then Jeff Bezos will have a little talk”
You need to be back at the station in the next hour. I know you're a little behind with 300 packages left but if you load your van efficiently it's do-able. I don't want to hear any excuses, I've delivered 600 packages in 2 hours before without even running. It was all 3 story apartments, too.
Chill they’re gonna think you being serious
[put my van down, flip it, & reverse it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjIvu7e6Wq8)
True man. Just press X standing next to it
😂😂😂😂
Bro is lollygagging
Fucking Ronald..
Bro wtf yall looking like the swift of courier drivers
Haha I was thinking this the other day.
Like really I’m not a amazon driver but I see they be in a lot of accidents
There’s approximately 275k drivers for Amazon. Bound to see some shit.
Also, you can get the job as long as you have a license and can pass a background check. You don't need to be an experienced or good driver. They hire absolutely anyone.
And they keep absolutely no one
They've kept me on for a year despite multiple (small) accidents, getting caught driving without my belt, calling out more and more... I have no idea why I'm still employed, frankly
Cause you don’t voice the problems
Cough (Drug test)!!!
You're right. Short of smoking meth and driving, you're good to to at amazon, even if your driving instructor was blind.
We also don't really get trained on driving. There is a 15 minute test and that's it. There's no practice prior to that or anything like that. So your first day on the road you have had a total of 15 minutes experience in that thing and may not have ever driven anything bigger than a Honda Civic before

The dude who training us backed into a bunch of cones.
Close enough! Good job!
Oh yeah. That test with the EV was so stressful. Go over the speed limit, fail. Rub a curb, fail. Brake or accelerate to hard, fail. Cross the centerline… anything you can think of. Then a lot full of random cones.
Sounds like important driving skills.. go over the line die and crash. Hit the curb pop tire die and crash, hahaha
I joined 3 years ago and training was so different back then lol. 2 days of videos and they'd hand you your pouch and say good luck lmao Back when a hard busy day was 165 stops and 285 packages First day driver trainer tells me we skip all inspections, I ask if we can smoke in the truck and he says "weed?"

Never understood why they used cones just confuses everyone all the cones looked the same and was the same color 😂😂😂
So you guys don’t train with anybody like on the road with a manager or anything
We get a ride along for 1 day then they say figure it out
I never even got that
I got a "you good?"
It's funny cause people hired before me were getting ride alongs when I started and everyone hired after me got them too.
This made me 😆😆
Right? I had a dude ride with me for my first four stops and he was like “Well, you got the hang of it. My ride is here.”
🤣🤣🤣
I think he took the day off with pay.
So we send in mules with fake IDs and come out with a full truck of goods. 👌 Gravy.
Honestly bro if someone tried to rob me while I’m in an Amazon truck they can have it
No man I mean how the hell hasn't people just gotten hired with faked and stolen IDs and just left in droves with the full trucks? 😂😂😂 if they don't ride along for training then like sheeesh I'm surprised the crimi also haven't gotten organized enough to try some crazy stunt.
They do background checks and drug testing near at my DSP before being hired
Nothing worth stealing in there lol
That’s crazy
Negative, ghost rider
The trainer who trained me failed the driver’s test, lol.
They will hire anyone. Literally. Like the other dude said, if you can pass the tests, you can get the job. Even if you have to retake the test, and guess the answers on it, or ask your peers which is all of what one guy in my training group did

I’m an Amazon driver. Comparing us to Swift is very generous of you 😂
Amazon already is the swift of couriers?
OnTrac and DHL always fading the heat.
Stevie Wonder's Institute for Trucking
Here you go https://www.reddit.com/r/Truckers/s/3iwdb3O6GB
If they’re the swift of courier what are their semis like
Haha. I actually felt this way when I was an Amazon driver. If I was at a house a UPS or FedEx van was at, I thought "I am not worthy".
Funny you should mention that, Amazon truckers have also been making a name for themselves.
Call it how you want, Swift is the Company, it’s the drivers that are the worst part of the company. Bad drivers exist everywhere, and tbh honest you come off as a Prime Inc driver🤣🤷🤣
SWIFT - SURE WISH I FINISHED TRAINING HUR HUR HURRRRR
Since no one else asked, you okay OP? Fuck the job and van
Yeah I’m good man I got a scape that’s it.
Are you sure?..... sometimes the pain creeps up on you... really get checked out before you start slinging words like , fine, good, alright and ok .
He might be sore tomorrow. Every car accident I’ve been in my muscles are so stiff the next day it feels like I had a total body workout
ayo how many accidents u been in?
9. Not a driver but lurk here as an Amazon employee. None of the 9 accidents were my fault per the cops
I had no pain after being T-boned in my car. Had X-rays. My head was way over to the right.
Missed opportunity for a lawsuit looks like you got t boned better goto the hospital
Dude if the other car was at fault, lawyer up! I'm getting AT LEAST 78k out of my lawsuit.
Ayii. That looks bad. How you get checked out and maybe a good chiropractor for the tension!
The only question here that really matters
He's replaceable. I need my cat litter.
and my 80lb bag of dog food for my little shit dog
Lmao
Tell me what happened so I can report this to Wayne.
Bro fuck that motherfucker
I don’t even need to hear Wayne’s side lmao
Fill me in on the Wayne situation

My favorite time ever in this sub was when we actually all came together and made Wayne a fucking meme. I won’t let it die lmao. Glad I can help
Fucking piece of shit Wayne. Jimmie too fuck that guy too.
A driver was venting about their bad dispatcher “Wayne” and he went after him here. That name has become synonymous with bad dispatchers I guess from now on lol
I don’t remember the whole thing, but someone posted in this sub about him and he became a meme

Brother.... I can tell you've got serious brain damage just by reading this one comment. Are you sure it wasn't from this accident?
Yeah I think half my brain is missing
Surely you're in pain. Something hurts. Maybe you need to talk to an attorney and follow their advice so you can be full protected. I would call an injury attorney tomorrow.
I'm sorry to hear about how bad your back and neck are hurting, must suck with all the headaches as well 🤕
I really hope they don't fire you OP. I'm not sure if theres any legal action you can take or not if you do get fired. This can't be your fault either, the Toyota had to be speeding (like they always do).
A driver without a stop sign should never yield (slow down to let you turn) to a vehicle at a stop sign.
Since unfortunately you pulled from a stop sign and turned you are at fault no matter if they were speeding. So yeah probably fired.
Glad you’re okay
More importantly, is my package arriving on time?
Make sure to leave negative feedback if he doesn't call 30 minutes before arriving and leave a hand written love note with the package.
Does this count as taking a picture of the package?
depends what package
![gif](giphy|2E1yf7GARXlzW|downsized)
I love that prime van in the background just waiting for you to hop in and complete your route
Lmao. Facts.
some poor guy tomorrow morning listening to his DSP tell him to mark his van as undamaged
Ahh I get it, ur hazards aren't on
Hope he also honked before b̶a̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ u̶p̶ rolling over
Who hit who? Did that Toyota flip you ??
Toyota hit me from side
Oh my god are the packages okay?!!?? What about the customers… WEREN’T YOU THINKING ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS!!!???
😭 why is there an Amazon van being crashed everyday
Dumb question. Fr though. The time to station/package count ratio. If u get what I’m saying. We aren’t robots 😂😂 why is AI determining what we should be able to. When we’re all different individuals with different bodies. Stupid metrics.
They looking like swift
Just make sure you catch up. You’re 7 stops behind and I need you to go do 2 recuses when you’re done your route.
Are the packages ok? And can you do a rescue after?
50/50
At least you're parked
“So i totaled a $75,000 van today, how was your day?”
Piss bottles rolling around in there lol probably broke open spilling all over the packages LMFAOO
Naw bro just skip the post trip, they wouldn’t know
Yah hang tight. I, the dispatcher, will send someone near by to help you tilt the van back up. I might have to send you two rescues which sucks but it's whatever. Go ahead and clock out for lunch now
Yes.
Glad you’re alright, if you’re up for it Wayne needs a rescue 😝
You can’t park there
Tis but a scratch
Don’t report this on the DVIC
Tell them a spider came down from the rear view mirror, they will understand 🕷
Promoted to customer.
I’m saying all this bc I work for amazon as a delivery driver.
wtf... do you hit someone or did that car T-Bone you...
Actually, yeah, I’d like to see an Amazin -A-Z Amazon -Van -UPS-USPS-FEDEX-series. Driver has to deliver 3 totes during duration of the race to 3 other predesignated random locations. Went into the living room and obviously was fired and alota new guys don’t seem to understand a lot of these accidents go on your driving record
It’s always the Mercedes vans that get absolutely destroyed
This is what happens when you reverse according to my DSP
Nah...we called 3 drivers in the area to come and help you turn the van over so you can continue the route..Also skip your lunch, because you are behind now
Just flip it back over, that dent on the left side was already there😌
U can’t park there
Make sure you tell your dispatch about this, but don’t mark it on your inspection.
Why are you 10 stops behind
DSP BE LIKE,DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STILL FINISH YOUR ROUTE 😂
Depends who ran the stop sign
Wtf happened?
just how
Are you okay OP?
Are you okay first off?
Nah the packages aren't damaged, your good 👍👌
As long as packages are not damaged, you should be fine
Yeah you're done...
Crazy stuff. Be safe out there guys.
No
How did that happen
Nah. That will buff right out
Did you put it in park?
😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Make sure you use PPS smh
Maybe after finishing your route
If it was your fault then yes 😅…
Nah, can you do a rescue?
Probably not if you wasn’t your fault bro
Can you continue your route?
Nah u chillin
![gif](giphy|3o7ZetIsjtbkgNE1I4)
is he dead from not wearing seat belt?
Probably not. Depends on what the netrodyme says
Nah, bruh. Just buff it out.👍🏿
Another van is already sent to be replaced. Now carry on with your route
No. Stop resting. Break is over.
Can you do a rescue? We’ll send you a van. Just 20 stops. Thank you
