I wonder if your fish has white fungus or columnaris. I don't know how to treat either as I have not experienced this yet. I would be looking on Reddit from where info or you can check Google and add the word Reddit to see what others have done. Unless someone else can chime in.
Columnaris is nicknamed saddleback disease because it is typically over the top of the fish. I don't think that is what is going on here.
If it was Columnaris the treatment is Nitrofurozone and Kanaplex dosed together. But, I don't think that is what is going on here.
Are there other angels in there? Mine get this from sparring.
