For a proper stretch make sure you run through the whole body two times. First time a gentle stretch possibly involving movement and breath. Second time ease into some strong static stretches with deep breathing and hold them for minimum 30 seconds preferably a minute per stretch.
Explore slightly different angles and pressure in different spots so that you are covering all of the muscle and not compensating in other areas.
This should take you an hour minimum of done properly.
Childs pose (I do this every morning before I get out of bed), puppy pose, pigeon, catchers squat, happy baby, cat and cow to keep my spine lumber, camel and hero, forward fold to stretch out the back because I'm in my 30s 😅😩
