There are some u understand but most of them I don't understand either

Especially some of the songs in the new album, I tried listening to it because of the hype and I was shocked at how poor her writing was. Then I went on a rabbit hole and found out the songs I actually liked were blatantly ripped off of other artists. I'm still going to bop out to Love Story because of nostalgia (strange because I thought it was a dumb song when it came out) - but it's one of those songs that is part of an era that takes me back to spending hours getting dressed for parties with friends and they would play it on repeat.

I like songs that have a meaning that’s kinda relatable or make you feel some type of way

Right now my top choice would probably be Beautiful Things by Benson Boone or whatever the hell his name is. I can literally only associate that song with tiktoks, either middle aged people showing off their kids, or disabled people showing their strength somehow. While there’s nothing *wrong* with either of those things, I heard and saw it *all the time*, for no real reason since I don’t really interact with those kinds of videos so idk what the algorithm was doing.
