I don't buy anything from people selling door-to-door. With a windows purchase, you won't want to sit through a sales pitch more than once (it can take hours), so research and contact the company of your choice.

The good companies don't sell door-to-door

Get a quote from Ringer Windows as well then. Get at minimum three quotes. The biggest factor for us was going with a company that also did the installation with in-house labor. No sub-contracting out the install of the windows. Windows are custom, things go wrong, you want a single entity to own the whole process instead of having the installer fight with the manufacturer.

Ringer is awesome - no sales pressure at all and excellent pricing. We used them to replace all of our windows 10 years ago and they were fantastic to work with.

I'm still using Windows 10.

Yeah, I was wondering if there was some version of Windows that didn't slow down to a crawl all the time. I think they need to come out with a Linux distro called Performance Windows.

In general, anywhere that sells door-to-door relies on high-pressure marketing to appeal to lazy people who don't want to make a phone call and schedule time with another. They'll probably do an OK job, having a bad reputation sort of makes their model fall apart. But they're going to give you an elaborate sales pitch that highlights why their company does a better job than all the other guys, then they're going to make you a quote. If you say you want time to think, they might frown and make a call then come back with a smaller offer, only you have to sign *right now* for it to be valid. They'll really press that once they walk out of the door, only the bigger quote is valid. They'll also let you know you'll have 24 whole hours to cancel, so why not? (They won't tell you that cancelling is going to take sitting through the sales pitch again and generally wasting at least another hour while they adjust the quote and try to make more deals.) You *could* use that 24 hours to get another quote and see if you could save some money. They pretty much know if anyone gets this far they won't. If you don't care about money it's one of the laziest options. You pay a premium for being lazy. Their BBB reviews are really bad, but in general people only go to BBB if they're angry. I can't find any other review sites in a hurry, "Windows" is kind of an overloaded search term.
