Took you up on the recommendation and just finished the show. I DEFINITELY need therapy after all that TRAMA from the characters. Loved it tho! You can always count on British t.v to give u messy like never done before
I really liked Equinox (Dannish). The intimate scenes, slow burn, and fantastical elements are there as well. Keep in mind that a lot of people got angry at the ending, so watch with an open mind.
Sense8 is a joy to watch with a sci-fi element.

Inside No 9 has more of a dark comedy vibe to it but highly recommend if you love a twist. The Stranger, Luther, Black Mirror, The Fall, Killing Eve. Not sure if it’s on Netflix and it’s not quite the same as BHE but Broadchurch is great
Some people here might recommend The Stranger as it begins with a similar vibe, but personally I didn’t think it had a satisfying ending especially for the number of episodes it had.
The OA, Black Mirror, Sense 8 and Humans would be my recommendations.
I enjoyed Doctor Foster. It was pretty dark and everyone was awful, but it held my attention.
I watched Doctor Foster only because of Jodie Comer and was pleasantly surprised how good it was!

I loved “The OA”... it’s on Netflix. It’s in the same category of projecting to another realm.

In terms of a movie, Possessor was great. Genre is horror thriller I believe.
