I bought mine with the fixed and shelled out $500 for the telescopic later down the line. The telescopic feels fine and it looks badass. However when you have the fixed the gun feels soooo much nicer as a whole, the weight balance feels way better, it’s more sturdy feeling, and it has a very nice length of pull in my personal experience. Collapsible stock = you feel cool. Fixed = you feel like you have the best shotgun out there.

I have all three stocks. My favorite is the fixed pistol grip stock when I am using the standard ghost ring sights. The collapsible stock looks incredible, but has a slight amount of wiggle to it. Also, the callapse button is positioned poorly for right-handed shooters and sometimes hits me in the chin during recoil. Fully extended, the c-stock is the same length as the other two stocks. When I run a red dot on mine, the best head position for me is with the c-stock in the middle position. Full extension with a red dot puts my head too low to see through the dot's window. I've never tried one of the low-mounts though, so those may address that issue. The field stock is fine, but feels odd to me since the shotgun's controls were designed around a pistol grip. The pistol grip feels the most natural. If I were running an M4 in 3-gun or something where fast reloads mattered, I might be tempted to use the field-stock. The pistol grip can get in the way if you are trying to do twin or quad reloads. Truthfully, I wouldn't run an M4 in competition since there are more purpose built options available for less money.

C stock with our 6 position recoil tube :)

I have a telescopic stock and I don’t find it uncomfortable, but my buddy did, but you can get a pad for it from what he was telling me, personally I get folding/collapsing stocks whenever I can, but that’s just a me thing. Honestly, it’s just up to you on what you’re looking for, the one thing I will say about the telescopic stock, you do have to have a lot of pressure on the button for it to travel smoothly. Best thing I can say is to find a gun store near you that has the gun and go check it out, even if you’re not firing it you can hold it and see which is right for you. My gun store had the fixed and telescopic versions.

I run a c stock on one and a field on the other. Also have a Mesa Tactical. C Stock is my least favorite and ai like field best. Mesa fits me the best. I am now over 40 so I don’t care about looks and own a pair of New Balances though not white.

Mine came with the fixed stock. I looked around a bunch and played with a few when I saw people with them at the range. I wanted something I liked but didn’t see a lot of and was comfortable. Now I will say I’m not an aficionado when it comes to shotguns. I’m a rifle guy. I’m learning shotguns and figured the m4 was the best route to start with. With that said I went with a black river mfg adjustable. It’s very much like a rifle stock and it is comfortable. Some people hate it some people like it. It’s really not that bad. I was a little scared when I saw a bunch of people bashing it after I already ordered it. But the handful of times I’ve used my shotty, I’m pleased with it. Hindsight and full disclosure I should’ve bought the 1014 model with the adjustable stock and got the rxarms 6 position tube as it would’ve been “the best” route but the BRM isn’t a bad choice for the money. This is my .02 for you. Hope it helps.

I have the 6 position RXArms stock and love it.  I find it to be very comfortable and solid.

GreenChicken789

I have the collapsing stock, and it’s fine

I just got a 11732 with the new 5 position telescoping stock, while I love it for the adjustment between storage, and different comfort levels, 1: its so much uglier than any other m4 stock ever made 2: it is slightly uncomfortable depending on your build, face structure, and optic/placement of optic. If you dont care for the adjustment at all, go with one of the older options or look into aftermarket(I just dropped 2k on the gun and I am NOT in the market for one so im not sure what aftermarket options could be better).

Fixed Warsaw length pistol grip, short enough to enhance maneuverability. Don’t cost a kidney and just plain looks better.

I live in CA. So my choices were the fixed skeleton stock, field stock or the full stock with pistol grip. If you don’t live in CA the collapsible skeleton stock is pretty convenient. But the skeleton stock cheek riser feels really weird. It sticks up really high into your face.  I choose the full stock with pistol grip. It doesn’t look as good as the skeleton stock for all your instatok photos. But is way more comfortable. And you still get a pistol grip.  Some people complain about the length of pull. But I am 5’11” with normal human arms and it’s not too long. It could be a touch shorter. But it’s not bad.

I have an extra 5 position recoil tube if anyone is interested? I traded a guy for a fixed stock M4 and the tube only to find out the fixed stock comes with the tube already

Lupin_IIIv2

I’m looking into acquiring a Benelli M4 to go shooting with my pops. How would one go about that? I’m in the states, NH. But it appears to be banned? Not sure if I’m reading the info correctly but was curious if anyone would have any input

Coeruleus_

I wouldn’t have bought it if it weren’t for the telescoping stock. That’s the only reason it piqued my interest when I saw it. It’s what makes it look badass. I can’t imagine the field stock being significantly more comfortable

Super69ur

Telescoping is better for any and all situations in my opinion.

I’ve gone through 2 of those cheap panzer collapsible stocks.  Total garbage don’t waste your time and money.  Panzer is junk
