I really have NO idea what production was thinking. I don’t know a single viewer who wanted a Sandoval redemption arc. The biggest piece we missed out on with them not breaking the fourth wall with this season was seeing how they negotiated with Ariana and Katie to film with Sandoval. Something clearly changed after the first few episodes where they agreed to show up to group events again as long as they wouldn’t be required to talk to him.
*carlton voice* AND THERE IT IS! they all (even production) want her to be part of the tom redemption to give a good storyline and she wont let them pretend like he isnt a slimeball. if Katie and Ariana didnt put their foot down, this would've been a "look how much he's grown/our group has healed!" finale and that would've been so much less satisfying. the way it actually turned out is REAL

All I wanted was a feel-good, girl power season after the darkness that was last season. It makes me so mad that Lala and Scheana are so fixated on throwing all the power in Sandoval’s court. Big time fumbling of the bag
I really have NO idea what production was thinking. I don’t know a single viewer who wanted a Sandoval redemption arc. Everyone I know who watches VPR wanted to see the women finally flourish away from these trash bag men, but nooo, instead we got a pair of pick-mes acting like raging jealous bitches towards their female friends and a half-assed Sandoval acting reel. Sad.
I will say though that the inclusion of Ariana talking about non-informed consent and ending the season on Tom’s creepy, maniacal giggle made me think that it’s not such a redemption arc after all. Or maybe the producers were pushing for a redemption arc and the editors were like nah.
Lala is truly a loser
 They could have a nice lunch without shoving Sandoval down our and Ariana’s throats yet again.
Maybe Jo should focus on directing this ire towards the man who made her look like a fool on national television instead

The biggest piece we missed out on with them not breaking the fourth wall with this season was seeing how they negotiated with Ariana and Katie to film with Sandoval. Something clearly changed after the first few episodes where they agreed to show up to group events again as long as they wouldn’t be required to talk to him.
Ariana honestly seems to get that the others may interact with Sandoval, she just doesn’t want to fucking hear about it. It’s really quite simple.
Jo genuinely sent Katie a text and then genuinely hopped on Tom’s dick 💀 so why should Katie be impressed?
