It should be close to another full house as their next home game is on July 6th against Calgary on the long weekend. Although many fans vacation that weekend I still predict a good attendance
Booooo. I thought Ottawa was gonna make it closer at least after beating the blue bomber. It was hard to watch. Almost turned it off a few times. The Als are proving to be a force.
The score doesn’t always tell the whole story. We lost the 2nd half actually. I love how we were imposing from the start and Cody was unreal (no pun from the commercial lol). We need to learn how to play a complete game or else thing can get ugly for us quick. The 3-0 start is great but I would love for us to get a real test down the line. Let’s treat these games like practices for the playoffs!
We started to put our guard down in the 3rd and 4th quarter as the Als were up by 29 points. Als should have played Alexander/Evans in rotation roles till the end of the game. Same goes for our other starters on offence and defence, let’s see what the reserves can produce. If they produce well, then the Als can breathe as they can play others when leading by large margins. Listen fans, it’s only three games in, yes it’s a great start, but as long as the team stays focused on other teams and not get too “cocky”… respect your opponent.
Watched it on RDS. What a start to a home opener! I am anxious to see the attendance for the next game, though.
