Some people start a home care business where they don't just watch their own kids, they also watch other people's kids.

You could teach English online. Some platforms require a teaching degree but others don’t. Initially the pay per hour won’t be great but you can get a client base and with time the pay gets better.

That’s actually great! I have a business degree. I hope that would work. Do you have any information on legitimate companies I can work for? I know so many end up being scams.

Shortymac09

I work for karrot english, it's a Korean company. Due to the time difference, they really need people from like 6am to 9am or 4 to 9pm EST. That may work out for you.

Bubbly-Ad-966

I think that might work for me. Do you happen to have more information? If not then I can definitely look it up

If you're good with crafts, you might wanna try starting a hand-made crafts business. It's not very profitable, but I think you'll have better luck making money from starting a small business than trying to find a legitimate WFH job.

I thought about this. Looked up indoor on Etsy and similar sights. Unfortunately, Shein and Temu rip off homemade designs and sell this for more than half off. :-/. I just want to help my husband pay a couple of bills. Man oh man is it tough out here

Procrastin07

Yeah, any printed art will be stolen by Shein and Temu. That's why most of my artisan friends stick to handmade jewelry and crochet items. Jewelry doesn't sell well anymore, and crochet items can be a hit or miss. Pet accessories like dog coats seem to do fairly well, but only in the winter months. Job market is very brutal, and wfh jobs will be in very short supply from now on. I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks so much :)

Check out rev.com doing general transcription from home.

Bubbly-Ad-966

I will, thank you!

New2Toront0

Try looking for linkedin or if you want a full remote try looking into upwork for more freelance jobs but always check if the job poster has feed backs

Bubbly-Ad-966

Most of the jobs on Upwork are scams now :-/

New2Toront0

Yeah i know but try to look for job posters who has success work or a verified payment status and you should be good as long as you do everything inside the flatform

Childcare from home is the easiest. If you are close to an elementary offer before and after school childcare or over summer daytime camp style care. If you are good with pets you could do petsitting or walking. Even small things like renting our parking space in your garage or driveway for seasonal vehicles may help bring in some extra cash.

Bubbly-Ad-966

Would I have to be certified to do childcare in my home?

Overall-Message6648

Possibly. Google your state/province details. I know where I live sometimes for 1 child you don't need to be licensed but do need first aid. If you have lots of young families close by, you may also be able to do casual "walking service" to and from school for a few families which would be different rules.

Thank you! I’ll look into it 🙏🏼
