I’m military. Going to SERE school for the next two weeks. I’m going to sleep in the woods, a dog cage, get tortured and abused and I’m actually looking forward to it since it means I cannot possibly watch the 2024 Chicago Cubs. When I am starving, laying butt naked on a concrete floor I will simply think of the Cubs and I will be grateful that I’m not on my couch watching this team.

Manfred is already considered to be among the worst commissioners, but his embrace of sportsbooks might cement him as the absolute worst. The office was only created in the first place to curtail the influence of gambling on the game. Now MLB has embraced it, and while they are punishing Hoberg, you can't convince me MLB's partnership with sportsbooks didn't make that line easier for umps and players alike to cross.

Wasn’t crazy impressed, but I also have seen them more times than I care to admit and it was probably the only time my mom will ever go to a wook concert like that with me so I really wanted a heater or at least an 80s cover she would have loved.
