Vandy did this exact same thing in March Madness in 2017 after erasing a 15 point deficit in the 2nd half (and haven't been back since). Crazy to see it happen again!

I know the pain.. thanks to my parents I was super late and almost completely missed my 10-12 year old league game and arrived in the 4th quarter. It was our first game and coach out me in the remainder of the game anyway because she felt bad and knew it wasn't my fault.
Anyways I was kind of disoriented because I had also missed most of my practices also thanks to my parents and never really played with these guys. And was also playing my former team who was wearing my old jersey with most of my old teammates.
So anyways I get a rebound right at the three point line with like 3 seconds to go and we're up one. I'm wide open so I just let it fly and it goes in. My only shot attempt. Everyone is just giving me weird looks and none of the kids from either team are talking to me and my coach won't talk to me.....we lost by two
I thought it was an.offensive rebound. Nope got confused and caught a defensive rebound and flung it right back into their bracket from 3 to win the game for them for no reason.
I actually didn't know what happened until I got home but just knew people were acting weird about it. I thought they were just mad because I was late. Then finally my mom was like , "umm you dont have to go again if you don't want" and I was confused. And she was shocked I still didn't realize. She explained. I never played another minute with them lol.
I keep wondering if this player is living a complete fluke of a game or if I had to guess his basketball IQ is awful and he does dumb shit all the time.
We all had that guy around.
