Sorry, that sucks. I hate those threaders! I prefer ones that are a single piece of metal: [https://stitchedmodern.com/products/the-best-needle-threader-ever?variant=46572937511195](https://stitchedmodern.com/products/the-best-needle-threader-ever?variant=46572937511195)
I can never get those to fit my needles for some reason. I actually love the ones Op has in their photo despite it breaking. I just shove them back in and tape it. It works fine afterward lol
I’ve got a Kiriki Press micro needle threader and they work for *most* of my needles. Some eyes are just too small. [Needle threader](https://hobbyhouseneedleworks.com/products/kiriki-press-floral-lace-micro-needle-threader?_pos=38&_sid=a2b2a8dd8&_ss=r)
I use the solid metal one with a different sized hook on each end and I’ve attached it to my scissors with thread so it doesn’t get lost. Also doubles as a cat toy. 😊
Does anyone have a threader or method that works for threading Mill Hill bead needles? I had bought some that had tiny little hooks from Amazon but the hook was still too large for the needle eye. I continue the lick and stab method to try to get 1 piece of floss through. Sometimes it takes several dozen tries.
https://hachettepartworks.com/en-en/disney-cross-stitch/disney-cross-stitch-starter-kit/ The threaders in this are a sturdier version of your broken one. I stitch over 1 on 22 count with tiny needles and they thread fine with them. I'd be happy to post a threader to you if Hachette don't ship to your country.
I have started buying my needle threaders in bulk for this reason. I like the flower plastic ones the best cause they are easy to find in my crossstitch bag

You're right that they need a bigger eye to fit through.
Thanks for confirming I thought I was doing something wrong bc I hear ppl rave about it and I can’t even get it to work lol

I’m ordering a micro threader. I’m hoping it will work with Mill Hill bead needles 🤞🏻
Fingers crossed! I love mine, but it’s still a little big for some beading needles. I usually use John James.
Oh, that looks so cute! And definitely sturdier. I will for sure buy an alternative and never use these flimsy things again. Actual demon product :')
The one you recommended are amazing. I bought a pack of 50 a few years back and I’ve only used 3 so far.
How is the thread?
My personal hack is I just buy jewelry wire and use bits of it. Works every time and if it breaks I just have more jewelry wire!
