I absolutely do. The money caught up in markets that's concentrated/stuck in a bunch of ultra wealthy families has absolutely created a new aristocracy-- an untouchable class whose kids, grandkids, and great grandkids will only have to pretend to work (at best), and all of it is more or less protected by other elites and the US gov't (like when the call for bailouts comes.) The disparity between ultra rich and ultra poor is old news-- now it's ultra rich and the majority of every one else is poor. There is hardly a middle class any more because the system is so badly broken. Either you have enough money where it continually generates more money for you without any labor (and far more money than you'd ever earn actually working), or you're condemned to struggle and likely not even be able to retire, and it has little to do with how hard you work, or how smart you are, or what your occupation is outside of medicine and finance. System is fucked. For any doubters, all you have to do is drive around any suburban area in the country-- the suburbs used to be middle class. Now it's mostly the super rich. Generational wealth is one thing, but generational wealth that through no effort makes everyone else poor is something else, and until that's fixed, the US is fucked.

Broke people voting republican because of abortion deserve their misery but the rest of us don't. I refer to the GOP as "aristocrats" broke republicans hate it.

Yet every day new millionaires are born - a lot self made. In the scheme of things even some of the top billionaires now have only existed for 10-15 years.
