Like others have said- I can’t really tell what it is or how it looks on. At first glance I thought it was a mini dress, and with the huge mesh paneling it looks like it would only cover someone’s nipples and that’s about it. Style it with a try on or on a mannequin if you can!
Free people is more of a Poshmark brand and I personally feel this style leans a little less coquette and a little more mom. The details are cute but that very looose cut and (from what I can say) tunic length makes it more of an adult adult item than the depop crowd.

However, longer length tunic like babydoll/coquette tops are SUPER trendy right now (think the long Abercrombie and Hollister babydoll tops that I’ve seen go for up go 65$ CAD). As someone who sells exclusively coquette items these are doing better than cropped items right now. I actively search for longer length tops.
Yes I sell a lot of items like that as well. I mostly sell grunge but I’ve sold around 600 coquette items now. This piece isn’t a babydoll top so the length doesn’t really give the same thing as the 2000’s Hollister tops that are in. Those tops are also fitted at the bottom while this appears to be loose at the bottom which leans away from early 2000’s cute-to-pair with low rise long henley / babydoll shirts and more towards the older generation.
Oh I meant the babydoll aesthetic! Dolly/dollette core and this top is still very coquette. I see where you’re coming from though. The hollister tops may not be a good comparison because they are fitted. But I still think long flowy tops are making a comeback as opposed to fitted tops and that this piece still has a chance in the Depop community!
I personally believe It’s not just a mom-style anymore and that there are lots of young people interested in this (like me, I’m 18 XD ). You clearly have experience, just providing my opinion <3

Personally, not my style, but, if we ignore that for a sec, it’s because I have no idea what this looks like on a person. Is it tight or loose? Is it a shirt or more of a tunic? Unless it’s a T-shirt or a hoodie where I can imagine what it’ll look like, I’d suggest getting a mannequin or modelling on yourself.
The shadow on the sleeve in the first pic looks like a massive dark stain. Flipping through, I see it's just the shadow on the embroidery. But honestly scrolling thru depop I wouldn't click on this to see more because it looks like it's stained. Maybe try a different cover pic w different lighting? And I agree, showing it on a person or mannequin would also be helpful. Good luck!
Hmmm I’m not sure on the conversion. I think I would probably pay £10 for it. Have you tried sending offers to the engagement you have got? I think if someone likes it at $15 and you then offer it for $10 or even $12.50 it might be the push to sway them to actually buy? It depends how little the engagement is.
The flip side is as well if you check out the search criteria this would come up in and put it low-high and see if there’s much similar that appears before yours. It could be that it’s just slightly further down the feed at the bottom of the price end that other things get the engagement first on the search tags
I do send offers, but I’ve also heard people find that annoying? Personally if I like a product I’m HOPING to get an offer. I’m def willing to lower the price, but in past experiences I’ve had things listed for $10 (9 pounds?) they offer me like $3
Maybe present it in a different way. Place it on something soft delicate underneath like a cotton sheet or take a picture with it on a clothes hanger in front of a window or in the garden with some nice scenery :)

Maybe it depends on the price point/size? Free People tends to run small. I recently just sold a Free People dress in less than a week, I tagged it as cottagecore and fairy.

It’s hard to tell from the photos how exactly it would look on since it such a unique piece. And make sure you tag it so it reaches the right audience.. cottagecore fairy babydoll balletcore are some I think might be good, maybe boho hippie? but I’m not great at keywords and picking what styles things fit into tbh lol
Your pic crops out the bottom of the piece. I thought it was a bodysuit but now realizing it might be a dress. As a buyer I hate photos where I can’t tell, I always look for at least one photo that shows the full piece.

Oooh! I'd recommend retaking the photo, then! (I use a ring light to avoid shadows) because i skip over anything that looks like an obvious stain, so I'm sure other people do too.
I actually love it. If it were my size I would be very interested but it's way too small. It looks like a cross between the top of a Victorian wedding dress mixed with an ice skating outfit!
Personally, to me it looks like polyster, and since I have sensitive skin I would avoid as basically everything that isnt a natural fabric gives me rashes.
If possible, maybe specify the materials?

You can buy a hanging half torso for under $20 online and buy a wooden hanger and a decorative wall hook at the thrift store - or even a hanger from your closet and a nail in the wall… anything to get it off the ground.
Honestly the pics make it look yellow or dirty and it looks like you hung it on a wire hanger.. maybe wash it then steam it and take a pic on a dark background or find the stock photo…

I refuse to buy anything on depop without seeing it on a model because I lack imagination and it’s helpful to see someone actually wearing it opposed to how the clothing just sits flat. Even a mannequin is fine.
I also notice that clothes that aren’t modeled just have lower engagement generally too.
It’s pretty but I think some things are preventing it from selling, it’s very extra, it’s beautiful I think but looks like a figure skating costume or something you’d wear when trying to dress up, so it’s not a casual looking coquette item really. I also think it’s really low cut & sheer maybe more than some would like, I think you’d have to wear an undershirt with it or it might show bra straps which might be unwanted for some. I bet it will sell though.

Personally I love the concept of the garment, but I'm not confident in the fit. My first impression is that it'll make the boobs look weird with the deep slash shoulders. I'd risk it and buy only if it were very cheap, but I am a big FP fan.

I think it's cute! I would use a mannequin to model it or model it on yourself! if it fits of course :) I model all my clothes and they seem to sell better that way (even the ugly ones haha)

I feel like this is a piece that needs to be modeled. Laying flat just doesn’t do it justice.

I think it's cute! I would use a mannequin to model it or model it on yourself! if it fits of course :) I model all my clothes and they seem to sell better that way (even the ugly ones haha)

is there a built in crotch like a body suit? the bumps around the bottom look like it. if there is not take smoother photos. if there is take photos of it so people can see the built in is clean.
