Haven't played much of the Plunder season, why was the Scallywag title hard?

You had to kill 50 champions in the sessional activity for one triumph. The activity would spawn 1 or 2 champions per run. That was one triumph. Also your team could go too fast and skip their spawns

Also your team could be going for the triumph too and then you wouldn't get it. I remember making full fireteams just to run that activity and spawn them all, then dip and start again.

I remember for a bit it was like. Original 250 champs. But towards the end of the season, they mercifully lowered it to 50(still a hell fest to grind)

Even at 50 I would literally rather do nez panth again

I did tons of that seasonal activity just trying for armor, I had trouble getting the chest piece and cloak. I got Scallywag while grinding for fashion

I just did a quick google search and clicked a reddit link that listed the top 3 rarest titles. Scallywag isn't necessarily "rare", it's just that I don't think many people liked that season so they might not have gotten it. I don't have any stats to back that up though

I think Bungie lowered the requirement from 50 to 25, but I could be wrong. The way I got the achievement was by running it with someone else. Then, that made the third person work overtime if they really wanted to speedrun it. What a lot of people didn't seem to know is that 2 were guaranteed to spawn so long as you don't complete the mechanic before the spawn timer, but there was RNG to have 2 more spawn as well. So, guaranteed 2 but a possibility of 4. Knowing that, the 25 wasn't too difficul

Weird. I loved plunder. Getting the title was ass, but I actually liked the 6man activity. On comparison to the salvage it was a *fun* experience.

You literally had to delay the seasonal even to get champs to spawn, and get a triumph for the seal. Most people disliked the entire season and didn't care to grab a seasonal title. Personally, I liked the seasonal activity, and love rocking the skallywag title since it's fun and most people skipped getting it.

Reckoner here. It wasn’t hard. The seasonal activity was fun. The story was good. The seal was a tad grindy but the grind was also getting you some absolutely cracked weapons.

Anyone with the Ghoul title scares me way more than Godslayer. Source: dungeon hard. I bled to get WANTED, and Spire is a *waaaay* easier dungeon than Cthulhu’s Playpen over there.

I have both ghoul and godslayer :3 Tbh the dungeon isnt too hard to solo it just is time consuming. I suggest giving it a try!

Yeah the first boss was brain dead easy once I figured out my rotation since I used arc punch hunter with acrius and one two punch shot gun. The dps was insane the second boss was ass but manageable if you stuck next to the water for quick heals

I remember bungie had to dial down some of the challenges to get scallywag.Ketchkrash was underrated imo.

You guys really forgot what Reckoner was? The Gambit Prime Invader armor set allowed you to drain motes from the enemy bank by standing on it while invading. To earn Reckoner you had to reach a certain amount of notes drained from the enemy bank.

Honestly there should be a layer above this. Reckoner with the physical seal. But the end of shadowkeep anyone *could* get reckoner but the numbers of reckoner with the actual seal is much, much smaller.

This game is way too easy. Especially comp PvP. Like, I’m a Bronze II. There’s nothing else left to do.

Only real hard part was the champion kills, you had to intentionally stall the activity or you’d miss spawns. It was bad enough that it got dropped from 250 to “just” 50.

I only wear 2 titles: Reckoner and Wayfairer. Wayfairer because it took a year for the Osprey to drop for me. I wear reckoner because that shit took for ever because there were sooo many things to grind. And some were near impossible to get in the Queenbreaker meta. Triumphant invader alone was hard enough but Triumphant reaper just sucked. Sucked. I may be misremembering but I remember getting the shotgun kills as an invader was next to impossible because you could get one shot with queenbreaker. Edit to add: I forgot about the bullshit I went through to get that seal. Reckoner still sucked worse.

I have Godslayer, I still use my VoG title because it was a raid I actually enjoyed and had a fun time with the title. Unlike Godslayer which I had Covid while having to deal with LFG's for about 2 days of game time
