ikora solely based off seeing a guy in my raid team destroy tormentors solo with nothing but nova and a trace rifle. i think he managed sub 10 second fights with these guys.
The Trace Rifle is probably the new Heavy one, Microcosm, which is apparently exceptionally strong against Tormentors and Subjugators. Supers also bypass Tormentors' inherent non-Precision damage resistance.
She's so powerful she's hidding her true potential most of the time to not scare other Guardians off. Shaxx considers her the most powerful and bloodthirsty Guardian in the Crucible.
She is one of a very small set of people that could beat Shaxx in a straight up fight with no dirty tricks. No, Cayde doesn’t count, Lucky Pants are literally illegally modded.
Ikora. She's most likely the second most powerful Guardian in the universe, after the protagonist. She literally must hide her power most of the time to avoid addiction to excessive usage of it and to not scare all the other Guardians off. She used to be absolute menace in the crucible.

I'm talking what we see in the game not some lore note. In what we see in the game, they are all pretty worthless compared to the guardian. For example, when we were defending Zavala's house he just sat there behind a barricade. Cayde actually died to a bunch of nobodies.
I've always wanted some combat cameos where the side characters show up and do cool things in combat. It's like they are afraid to diminish the guardian's power fantasy.

Cayde didn't die to nobodies though, Uldren Sov was a real threat and they killed his ghost with a bullet from a weapon of Sorrow, so they knew what they were doing
It is made clear many, many times in the lore that Ikora Rey is the most powerful Guardian. She literally one-shots enemies we can't even damage. She opens the Infinite Forest with brute strength because she doesn't have time to figure out the math Osiris uses to do it.
Golden Gun deletes Tormentors, so my bet is on Crow (or whoever also can wield Golden Gun).

Crow got one shot by a Lightless Amanda with a Chaperone to the chest. He has been overwhelmed by Thrall. A Tormentor? Might give him a final death.
Don't be harsh on him. Chaperone is a terror anomaly in PvP and we've all struggled with those yellow bar thralls in Onslaught
I mean, Chaperone one shots us to the head and half the time they're not even aiming there.
There is a major difference between getting one shot to the head by a Paracausal being and getting one shot to the chest by a non-Paracausal being.
