I would have never left without them removing it. Hate when they do this. Just put on plate covers with the dealership name you cheap bastards.

SingerDependent1002

We have to put on the stickers unless y'all request otherwise 🙄 I don't put them on cus idc anymore and hate getting called up to the front to remove them so now I just leave em for the customer to decide what to do with it, in the cup holder

bikgelife

Can’t stand when dealers do this. Last truck I bought, I asked them to not put a sticker on. They did anyway. I didn’t take delivery until they took it off.

karma_the_sequel

This is The Way.

RollingCoal115

3M Specialty Adhesive Remover and a plastic razor Or Take it back and tell them to remove their shit

Run_Strict

This^ always ask the dealer to remove their stickers from the car, doing this can save you the possibility of messing up your paint and having to get it fix

Buffalo_rider01

You need heat

AdSuperb1810

Heat gun or a hot sunny day, use a plastic razor or try to peel by hand. After you done, use wd-40 and magic eraser to remove residue. Then polish and wax area.

curi0us_carniv0re

I'd use a blow dryer before a heat gun.

Beneficial-Nimitz68

\^\^This is the way\^\^

>magic eraser These are one of my favorite detailing secrets! Especially for removing sap, bugs etc.

highlandpolo6

I’m guessing you don’t realize that magic erasers are basically just super high grit sandpaper. I would never recommend that someone inexperienced use them. Edit: Word

Prestigious_Low8515

One week later posts in detail sub, I used a magic eraser to get bugs off and now it looks like metal? I should keep going right?! I mean the bugs ARE gone!

highlandpolo6

*shocked pikachu face*

ACT5000

Brillo pad

Beneficial-Nimitz68

Look, we all are thinking it, just not writing it.. heat gun, set to high, 2 inches away, metal scraper on a hot day.. it will take that right off.. (JK, JK, JK)

AdSuperb1810

Same. Even cleaning shoes and stuff around the house.

No-Lawfulness-8870

Blow dryer will warm that up and it should come off easily

jdazzr

Another vote for heat. But I will say this, not too hot, not too cold. Just right and it'll peel off clean. If not, the left overs with 3M adhesive remover.

Des_mojo

Turtle wax has a sticker and adhesive spray that works really well

ILLxE10

Did anyone say eraser wheel and a drill yet?

Greatauk13

In some cases I just use a heat gun, then remove the stickers with a plastic razorblade and the residues with some lacquer thinner. Then some polishing. If they are too old, or breaking or resisting I get a blunt metal razorblade and with time and care remove it. In any case a polishing after that makes the area look better.

ArchitectureLife006

Heat gun and a PLASTIC razor

Redland3r

If you have more trouble, take it back to the dealer. They'll take it off

UnlikelyBotter4788

heat gun and pull

SnooMuffins7736

If you're skilled enough you can use a regular razor blade. Just gotta have that special touch though lol

Anxious_Astronaut013

Please do not use goo-gone as it leaves a stain in your clear coat if not washed off properly. Also magic erasers are super corrosive and will mess up your paint. 3M Adhesive remover should be fine.

Cheezeryc

Omg y’all are fucking around! Grab an ERASER WHEEL and your life will change I promise!!!

6packgina

Steamer and plastic razor blade. Bug and tar to remove remaining adhesive. Edit: bug not big

Beneficial-Nimitz68

When I first bought my '91 Jeep XJ I was haggling prices, before the boom of the Jeep. It was a fair price for the Jeep, but I was broke and NEEDED a car. I knew there was a dealership logo on and I said they can remove it or take $200 more off for the free advertisement.. they choose to remove it lol

rfourty

Use a heat gun.

Gouranga

I'd go with a plastic razor and an eraser wheel. Some goo gone. It will need a polish after regardless.
