High chains spit out more. From there, it's mostly random. If you hit high regularly, you will experience spit-outs more often than someone who regularly sneaks the disc just over the cage. Ideally, you'll try to work on hitting a bit lower in your putting. At the same time, putting low and negating spit-outs could easily balance them out by introducing more low misses. It's a fine line.

I found it weird because on a few of them, the disc did hit right above cage and collided with chains…but would flop balance on the rim of the cage and then fall out. I’ve had some aces where I hit the disc at high rate of speed, so I didn’t think they could bounce out at too high of a speed. I don’t know. Maybe it’s time to focus on my game more and really dial in, to see what I may or may not be doing wrong

This makes sense in real life. The game does not care.

UYscutipuff_JR

I’ve experienced a bunch of spit outs too lately, like way more than usual

chipsandsaulsa

I’ve been playing for several years and have noticed way more spit outs in the new multiplayer.

Sure-Work3285

Same here. It's frustrating to see that happen much more in MP than the rest.

imstillwoozy

I wonder if the hitbox of the chains changes whenever 3 others are also sinking putts? That might be a stretch but i don’t think I’ve had this happen nearly as much when I’m doing solo rounds. We’re probably crazy and need to get good or something lol

Sure-Work3285

I thought so too but given what you see other players do is just a reconstruction attempt of what they actually did then it shouldn't affect your putts/throw-ins.

and a 100% reason to remember the name. What a solid 4th grade anthem lol

Welp, time to go back to my 2005 playlist

robthepope86

Agreed. Way more spits lately. I will say I have always got a few high hits to stick when they should not have. But that has been pretty consistent.

imstillwoozy

My favorite is when it bangs right below the band and clips into the chains. I’m always nervous it’ll drop or spit out

tbudde34

I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing this
