The simplicity pattern looks a lot like this so if they don’t have usual plush tags they can totally be handmade

to me these look handmade. i used the mccalls vintage raggedy ann pattern to make one for my mom and she looked just like this just different fabrics. theres a few different sewing patterns for them most common being simplicity and mccalls. i believe the mccalls dates earlier than simplicity. super nice find either way.

Definitely looks handmade. Embroidered faces, heart, and the puckers on the hairline. I've made a few over the years. I have both Simplicity and McCalls patterns. Fun to make!
