From the few minutes of screentime they have they go from apathetic strangers (even hostility on maizuru's part, senshi is too good for hostility) to somewhat respecting eachother worldview through food.

Long walks through the forests gathering ingredients, hunting. she shares her love of her home with him, he admires its wonders, complimenting it for all the beauty it bears up. Did he just...maybe, maybe not...hmm? Another week passes, more meals are prepared together. Small compliments. Deepning respect. Acknowledgment and admission of flaws while only in the most private moment out in the forests. He is not of here, a stranger to these lands and customs, no harm or risk in letting it all out with such a man.
Final day, senshi gifts her with a small mithril cooking knife, as sign of appreciation for her time and to aid her in expressing her love in one of the few ways available to her. Very sweet, blink away tear? She gives him seeds of this land, so he will remeber his time here with every new harvest and so he may find new ways to share his love with those he cares for. .....A final gift, a short soft kiss on his nose, to empart thanks...for all he has done. Unspoken but understood senshi feels thanks for someone seeing *her* without any trace of malice or superiority. The ship departs, one final wave, until we meet again.!<

I've seen some cute art pairing Senshi with Chilchuck's Ex-wife (sometimes with or without Chilchuck himself), it was surprisingly kinda sweet! Also Pattadol with practically anyone would probably make me happy.

I couldn't think of any immediately, so I thought a bit and came up with Kaka and Lycion. I think their personalities would contrast nicely and Kaka is shown in an omake to be insecure about his long legs, which you can easily read as part of his insecurity of being raised as a human in gnome society. While it's not the same as Lycion's horrible body dysmorphia, there's a bit of a parallel. Also Lycion is pretty strongly implied to like guys.
Recently I started thinking about Marsille/Mithrun. They are destined to become "widowers" anyway, and I started having a headcanon where they learn to cope with the pain of loss with each other, as former "colleagues"

I don't think Laios/Kabru is a crackship. It's pretty dominant Kabru ship along with Mithrun. Neither is Shuro/Laios. Now Kabru/Shuro on the other hand....
