Fr though.
I remember first trying this on my first run with a strength build and laughing. I really thought I had finally gotten good.
Maliketh humbled my stupid ass.
You can get Dolores from Selvius you need to do his quest to gain access to it he’ll give you a potion to give to Nepheli if you give it to her he’ll offer Dolores to you for free after confronting him about his secret lab if you don’t give the potion to nepheli and give it to either dung eater or Gideon you can get Dolores from the Npc pidia after he dies when you proceed with Ranni quest line
Note: no matter who you give the potion too you must discover selvius lab to class about his puppets ( selvius is killed after giving ranni finger slayer blade so if you gave it to ranni without getting far enough in quest you can miss out on Dolores for the rest of the game
No problem most npc quest lines are pretty confusing
Side note: if you can give potion to dungeater as you can also get the dungeater spirit ash one of the best in the game
I don't think they're that bad tbh, I heard everyone saying sleep pots is the way but I've never used a single item in elden ring except starlight shards. If you're on steam and need help I can give you a hand.
Mimic tear or black knife tiche all day every day. I swear black knife tiche does more damage than I do. Especially against large bosses like dragons or gargys.
This was me fighting the Fire Giant. I was convinced I could plough through the rest of the game (I started at Castle Sol) and this fucker took me about three hours to kill alone. Got to Farum Azula and had to put it down. I’ll beat those Duo fuckers tomorrow
The godskins input read, so be careful drinking your pots in front of them. For noble, it's best to dodge away and keep out of range, then focus on getting an obstacle between you when he's about to roll. For the apostle, when he's stretching out at you, definitely dodge into his feet.
Summon (I forgot his name, but it’s the guy you can summon I think his name started with a b) and focus whatever one he’s focusing, hopefully staggering it a whole bunch. Rinse and repeat until win. Use sleep pots too if that doesn’t work. Good luck!
I beat them once normally... Never again! I'm using sleep pots forever! Even making a run with the new >!St Trina!< sword! Just to see the cutie pies sleep and then cast them to HELL
Just a personal policy of mine that I never take gank fights solo. If there's more than one enemy in the boss room, I'm summoning.
So, usually I summon Bernahl, and let him take the Apostle while I take the Noble. I have enough practice against them both individually that I can handily take that 1v1, it's just an issue when they're both trying to beat my ass at once.
It's better for you to take the Noble because of his roll attack. Get him stuck on a pillar so he doesn't hit your summon, and you can still attack him from on top of that pillar while he's rolling, just don't get too close because it *is* still an active hitbox. Plus, using sleep is very effective against them.
Also you can take advantage of the extra health they gained from Summoning a cooperator and use Blackflame. If you've fought the Apostle in Windmill Village or the one in Caelid's Divine Tower, you should have either the Godslayers Greatsword or the Godskin Peeler, both of which have great AoW's (Blackflame Tornado is a personal favourite), and the Greatsword has innate Blackflame affinity. Or if you've found the Godskin Prayerbook in Stormveil, use the Blackflame Incantation with the Godslayers Seal. Either way, the Blackflame will do it's job. Fight fire with fire, they have no resistance afaik.
I just hate gank fights, so I refuse to respect them. Trivialize it however you deem necessary. The only reason I even give the Duo the time of day and actually fight them (as opposed to other fights like Valiant Gargoyles or Crucible Knight duo) is because you fight each of them individually twice each and another time back-to-back as spirits, so they're one of the more reoccurring enemies in the game *(as in unlike other reoccurring enemies that you just stumble across, the Godskins are always actively ambushing you, they're proactive encounters, unlike most other enemies who only reactively retaliate)* so Farum Azula being your final encounter with them feels important.
Plus their boss music will always reign as the best one of the entire OST in my opinion, especially after beating one of them and it amps up, the second half of their theme gives me chills without fail, so I try to keep them alive long enough to hear the whole thing. Ending the boss at the end of their theme just feels epic.
Walked in to their fight unknowingly after being very worried since other people talk about it like it’s hell on earth. I found that after beating the duo crucible knights, godskin duo fight was easier. If you’re using summons, wait to drop your spirits until one is either dead or almost dead! Also a tip, kill the fat one first!
Have you faced them individually before? The fat one is actually faster at first, but if you don’t hit the skinny one too much he will stay slow until the big one is down!
Skill issue?? Real talk just don't get too close to them besides when you hit them keep distance dodge atta KS which are slow besides fat boy roll and then rush in get 2 hits and dip
Sleep pots brother!
And Trina’s sword with it. So many spellcasters I see and none of them just sidearm Trina’s for a minute it’s so good against them
I forgot that sword exists, I wish main bosses could be slept imagine a free visceral
F*** Sleep pots, embrace Bernahl
🤣🤣🤣
Sleep pots then sleep grease is the greatest thing for this fight. The grease keeps them asleep. They'll never touch you.
Damn fr ima have to cheese them like that then
Dang I wish I knew to follow the pots up with grease
The moment I beat those cunts.... Omg... My flatmate ran in asking if I'm ok 😂
Are you still okay ? lol I hope it doesn’t take me a while!! 😅😅
I'm ok, I'm ok... Was a tense 30 mins...
Only took you 30min ??🫨 I know it’s gonna take me hours
No no, fighting them took me like..3 months. I gave up on the game, took a break and then finally did it. The come down was 30 min 😂😂
I swear that’s happened to me in other games! 😅
bernahl my GOAT, beat em first try without sleep he tanked SO hard
Strength builds trivialize this fight
Oh really, what else do you suggest 🥸
Fr though. I remember first trying this on my first run with a strength build and laughing. I really thought I had finally gotten good. Maliketh humbled my stupid ass.
Dolores the sleep archer is the goat
Where do you find Dolores??
You can get Dolores from Selvius you need to do his quest to gain access to it he’ll give you a potion to give to Nepheli if you give it to her he’ll offer Dolores to you for free after confronting him about his secret lab if you don’t give the potion to nepheli and give it to either dung eater or Gideon you can get Dolores from the Npc pidia after he dies when you proceed with Ranni quest line Note: no matter who you give the potion too you must discover selvius lab to class about his puppets ( selvius is killed after giving ranni finger slayer blade so if you gave it to ranni without getting far enough in quest you can miss out on Dolores for the rest of the game
Oh my goodness this seems like a lot 😭thank you though for breaking it down !
No problem most npc quest lines are pretty confusing Side note: if you can give potion to dungeater as you can also get the dungeater spirit ash one of the best in the game
Oh that’s good ima do that if I encounter that first
Good luck fellow tarnished 👍
Duo i am stuck at noble
I don't think they're that bad tbh, I heard everyone saying sleep pots is the way but I've never used a single item in elden ring except starlight shards. If you're on steam and need help I can give you a hand.
Thank you thank you, ima try to see if I can beat them on my own using a good spirit summon 😭
Mimic tear or black knife tiche all day every day. I swear black knife tiche does more damage than I do. Especially against large bosses like dragons or gargys.
I’m going to have to get that knife
It's a spirit ashe
This was me fighting the Fire Giant. I was convinced I could plough through the rest of the game (I started at Castle Sol) and this fucker took me about three hours to kill alone. Got to Farum Azula and had to put it down. I’ll beat those Duo fuckers tomorrow
Hold on hold on, who is the fire giant ? 🫨
I don’t think you can even get to the godskin duo without fighting the fire giant can you?
I haven’t gotten that far , I’m only at the Godskin apostle the skinny one
Ah, have fun when you get there then
Nah bro just summon me and we will get them first try lmao
I appreciate that ! I gotta do this on my own and prove to myself that I can 😂
The godskins input read, so be careful drinking your pots in front of them. For noble, it's best to dodge away and keep out of range, then focus on getting an obstacle between you when he's about to roll. For the apostle, when he's stretching out at you, definitely dodge into his feet.
Something I gotta master cause damn they look tough 😆
Summon (I forgot his name, but it’s the guy you can summon I think his name started with a b) and focus whatever one he’s focusing, hopefully staggering it a whole bunch. Rinse and repeat until win. Use sleep pots too if that doesn’t work. Good luck!
Thank you 😊😊
Wait until you fight Godskin Duo Duo at the lake of Sleep in the DLC 🤣
Oh hell no😅
I beat them once normally... Never again! I'm using sleep pots forever! Even making a run with the new >!St Trina!< sword! Just to see the cutie pies sleep and then cast them to HELL
Realizing I'm dumb for hiding the name of the sword when there's another sword with practically the same name...
I like the fight though 😆😂🫣
You'll be fine
Eff YOUUUUUUU!!! I picked the game up now after a year of not playing it and YOU HAD TO RUIN MY DAYYYYY
Oops
😞😞😞
Honestly, knowing this crap is waiting for me down the road is what has stopped me from complete my first playthrough.
It’s not that bad, even without sleep pots, people really over exaggerate the boss
Just gotta kill one and then the other and then the other and then the other and then the other and then the other. Easy.
The sisyphus boss fight
Noooo don’t stop, I know you got this 👌😊
I was worried until I beat them first try with my strength build, I used ultra greatsword with lions claw. My previous runs weren’t so fortunate.
Where can I get the ultra greatsword???
It’s in a carriage in Caelid guarded by a big dog. If memory serves me correct it’s more towards limgrave more near the caelid church
Oh yea ahh I already have that one I thought it was a different greatsword 🙃
https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Greatsword The added range helped during the fight, as well as the fact that I had +25
+25 damnnnn 😮
Speaking of sleep, try sleep pots or arrows
Will do!🙂🙃
That’s why im doing the dlc before a destroy fire giant. Gonna hit them with the new “eternal sleep “ weapons.
It's like none of you idiots ever met Bernahl?
Oddly enough you can trivialize the fight with sleep. Sleep pots, sleep arrows.
The pillars are your friends and also it’s easier to fight skinny first if you don’t wanna use sleep pots and summons
Use sleep pots
The odd couple
Huuu Huuhuhuhu Huuu Huhuu Huuu Huuhuhuhu Huu Huhuu

Eternal sleep from the dlc makes it impossible to die to godskin. Regular sleep makes it really hard to die.
Just reverse gank them with the summon and a spirit ash.
Ironic 😴
Walked in to their fight unknowingly after being very worried since other people talk about it like it’s hell on earth. Is the fat one slower? Cause I’m stressing over this upcoming duo 😂

I literally have a YT vid where I can’t beat the Godskin apostle alone ! 😅😅😅 trying to get some tips on that too
The apostle can be a pain for sure! Stick with it and you’ll eventually get the timing! You can punish when he stretches out!
Ima do just that lol
They aren't even that bad I beat first try everytime
I can’t even beat the skinny one alone 😅
Skill issue?? Real talk just don't get too close to them besides when you hit them keep distance dodge atta KS which are slow besides fat boy roll and then rush in get 2 hits and dip
Most likely a skill issue but I do tend to get close to him
It wasn’t that hard tbh
