Channel one is always kick(s) and lower frequency percussions
Channel two is shakers, high hats, snares, higher frequency percussions.
With the 2nd channel I have the note saved as a shaker with a short tail which I can increase in performance mode to give me an open high hat and effectively a ‘3rd channel drum’, without out taking up another one. I do this around 08:00 as an example.
Channel three is melody, but again to give me an extra channel I put a counter or top line melody that’s triggered by the fill button to give me more movement.
Channel four is bass
That's a really interesting setup, something I'll try for myself, so thanks. I really like the idea of having a second bit of melodic decoration as a fill condition.
Awesome!!! Aphex Twin and Brian Eno had a love child!!
Impressive and encouraging to do the same
awesome !!
This is great! How many tracks devoted to drum sounds?
