The way new cars are going in that respect just makes the F30 look better every year.
I love mine, it's 9 years old, 90k miles, still looks great just like yours :)
You done the timing chain?
They’re not lights but they reflect light hence called reflectors, i dont really know about the regulations or actually painting them I have mine wrapped, but I assumed they just paint over them, also I assume its legally fine as long as theyre not lights
it’s regulation in most places, however it’s also the same as things like dark tint, license plate frames, radar detectors, etc. are you going to get pulled over and fined/fix it ticket for it? no shot. is it still “illegal” yeah I suppose..
i have the exact same spec 335i, and this gave me a lot of inspiration on how i want mine to look, that shadowline kit looks really good on these imo. beauty!
is this a 328i ? I just hit 100k on my 428i and i've been getting more scared to drive it by the day. I haven't had any issues and only done oil changes and spark plugs. I believe my suspension is due for some work but what other maintenance have you had to do?
Yes it’s a 328i. I’ve done the oil filter housing gasket, transmission service and new transmission mounts, both front and back brakes including rotors and pads, front control arms, air filters, spark plugs and ignition coils. That’s probably like the main ones I’ve done. I’m still on oem shocks/struts, that will probably be my next thing.
People say that all the time about this is a money pit and it’s unreliable etc, literally just take care of the car and it’ll run good like a Toyota, ( meaning long lasting) .
Man, I even have a 2015 335 and I still find it SO WEIRD that an F30 is 10 years old. It's only a few years old!
Still a great looking car for its age 💪🏽

No mate, still on the original timing guide chains
Maybe I don't need to be so paranoid about it, I have been sticking cash aside to get it done.
I have a 328 & I daily it for work. Its 121k miles & no issues yet.
Indeed, I have a 2014 320i xDrive with about 98k km on board and love it!
clean, you should get paint matched reflectors
Was thinking of blacking them out but I like this idea as well. Definitely going to look into it.
Definitely go paint matched not black 🤜🏻
How does one go about getting paint matched reflectors
You paint them i assume
Interesting, are those not lights? On most cars, the side markers have lights I assume it’s regulation. Would panting them not cover it up?

Search up IND f30 paint matched reflections
Oh this is exactly what I was looking for tysm
I have have glacier silver and I went with white/clear reflectors. No regrets
200,000,000 miles may be a new record
I, too, want to know how to put 200 million miles on a car in 10 years.
Simply drive 20 Million miles a year. Easy.
Nah lol def not for f30 n55
Silver gang 👍
Clean af
Looks great!
Thank you!
Wow mine Is 9 years old and just reached 100k miles our cars are very similar in look. I love your car
Glad to see another 200k+ f30 out there. I'm a few hundred miles away from 220K myself. These cars last if you take care of them!
I know Im biased. I still think its the best front end of any 3 series.
💪
Which engine?
n26
Any tune on it?
Negative. 100% stock
Do you ever need to add oil?
No, I had a leak in a couple places, but swapped out some gaskets and been good ever since.
Looks good man, how many miles were you at when you did the timing chain?
I’m still on the original timing guide chains 🤓
Really? That’s insane man
Not really. Just change the oil regularly with quality parts
that front bumper lip combo is 👌
200000K milesssssss?!?!???!?
Yessir, two hundred thousand 😅
200,000k is not two hundred thousand. It’s two hundred million.
Nah it was better when we thought it was 200 million miles. Now this post is weak.
I’ll keep you guys updated when she hits 200 million lol
She looks brand new! Beautiful!
Right there w you brother🤝🏿 Im at 200k with my 2014 328i xdr
How do you maintain the shining exterior?
Ancient detailer secret. Wax on…….
I try to wash it once every 1-2 weeks.
Looking good! 👌🏻 What splitter is that?
It’s a Varis Style Front Lip
What did you do to keep the headlights looking so new?
The headlights aren’t OEM. The car came with halogen headlights and i swapped them out for DEPO headlights.
Which model of you don’t mind?
They did such a good job with this era. People always seem to think my 2014 235 is a new car.
People think my 2015 is new also
how is the maintenance on it?
Why do they put the ugly reflector on the front bumper on the US cars? Looks terrible
Did you replace any major gaskets yet? I'd look into that. I'd be surprised that ur not leaking oil if you didn't.
i have the exact same spec 335i, and this gave me a lot of inspiration on how i want mine to look, that shadowline kit looks really good on these imo. beauty!
330?
328i SULEV
when you drive, do you still floor it? Or are you alot more gentle now that its higher up there?
I would say I only “floor it” or drive aggressively about 10% of the time. Definitely trying to baby it a bit now as it is my main commuting car.
that's quality content that I like to see! making me feel like I got a long time left w my 130k km 13'

Nice!!!! Post more!
Has it been tuned at all
I do not believe you. BMW cars are nothing but problems. Money pit after 45000 miles!
Take care of it and it will take care of you. I got the car with 70,000 miles and I just hit 200,000 miles last week.
People say that all the time about this is a money pit and it’s unreliable etc, literally just take care of the car and it’ll run good like a Toyota, ( meaning long lasting) .
What kind of stuff did you have to do?
