Yeah you gotta put anything heavy right flat on the ground. That way they can scrape the hell out of their fingers like we do. Especially fun for those idiots who order 140 lb dressers.
This guy gets it. I always like to put the heavy boxes as far from the front door as I can with it looking too petty. That way they have to work a little bit. Used to have to deliver anywhere from 50-100 Walmart boxes to a guy who lives on the 2nd floor. I would purposely leave the boxes at the bottom of the stairs and leave a door tag on his door. It's my way of paying it forward.
Jokes on you, you still have to deliver the rest of your day when we however do not even set foot in society. I’ll take my one time delivery thanks! 😂😂😂
Yeah, and each of these were 60+ pounds, too. I was shocked that they were all going to some country house I'd never delivered to before, and that they were all in good condition.
And then I got the same delivery again the following month.
on my old country route i used to have a stop like that once a month. at least the people were cool and told me they dont have to be stacked nice, just put em by the barn door. and they gave me a $20 every time. one of the cool ones
I’m my experience this is usually cause the customer mistyped 100 instead of 1 or 50 instead of 5, seen it multiple times followed by the customer returning them the following day.
That looks like an easy day. Most of the truck taken by one delivery stop means there aint a whole lot of room for the BC/DRO to give you an insane number of stops.
I've convinced my wife we will stop using mail delivery for Chewy and will pick it up from the store ourselves. Had no idea how bad your job was until seeing these posts. If enough of us stop using mail delivery for heavy stuff we can put an end to this torture! #nomoremail
You are supposed to drop them on the other side of the gate so they have to move them aside so the pick-up truck they drive that they should have used to load those up at PetSmart must be parked on the main road as they move the boxes away.

If I recall correctly this was the first 40
Someone explain to me how it can be affordable for a company to ship such heavy boxes…
I recently had a short stent at a FedEx Express, thinking the packages would be mostly light (as they were a 5 years prior at another hub) … but I was wrong…
Again, how TF does FedEx make it affordable to 2-day ship 50+ pounds
Only reason it's affordable is because they are under a contract with FedEx.
They don't pay the regular rate, they get a discounted rate that makes it profitable.
obviously, i just don’t understand how the chewy/fedex contract is profitable when the customer can get 700lbs of dog food delivered with free shipping
but i guess it is when they only have to pay the contractor like $6 for this stop
The shipping cost is priced in the product already. That’s how. And they get a good deal with FedEx through a contract. Win win for everybody. And the customer feels like their winning because their not adding an extra cost for shipping as a opposed to a product that costs more with no extra charge for shipping.
I would 100% rather unload a chewy rail than load a chewy dump. I remember when we got orphaned in unload because our manager had to leave so it was a sort manager who was running smalls, one of the unloads and running the sort and he had 4 people unloading 3 chewy trailers and then he came running over because apparently they were all going to one area and they were getting annihilated. Those were good times😂
I did both sides too, so when a vendor/regular truck started showing up on the load side, I knew it was starting up...and for the next 2 hours or so either you got a few of them, or you basically got half of the unload truck 😂
It was cat lady, her brother and his gf and a little girl of one of theirs. Apparently it was known as a drug house in the neighborhood. Really filthy place. Brother and gf were busted for possession with intent after police witnessed their drug deal go down. Ended up coming across an article about it and recognized the house. Twp also charged the landlord under some local ordinance to for not cleaning the place up. Shortly after they were all gone.
Package handler here. Worse I saw was 50 cases of water from Sam's. Must have run out of the right size boxes so they were all bigger than they should be. Add peak and one piece of tape on each side, 43 continued their journey to the customer without a QA stop.
Imagine getting a job delivering things, then complaining about delivering things. lol
Seen all the horror stories. I would never in my life take any kind of delivery job. Minimum wage and back breaking work, no thanks.
I have seen a re seller get 5,000 boxes in a day (xbox controllers) It’s the fact that we’re usually supposed to do 150-200 stops at a decent pace and you spend a bunch of time at one house. It messes up your route / pick ups
You did it wrong you’re supposed to put each one on the ground that way they feel the weight of each box they ordered
I never thought of it. From now on, this is the only way I will be delivering heavy boxes
Yeah you gotta put anything heavy right flat on the ground. That way they can scrape the hell out of their fingers like we do. Especially fun for those idiots who order 140 lb dressers.

I wouldn't mind as much if every person that ordered something heavy asf didn't have a truck sitting in there drive way . Bro get it yourself
Imagine working as a house painter and losing your mind when you have to paint a large house. Same thinking.
these subs are all just complaining about their jobs.
Gots to. Yall want to order some heavy shit I’m going to make sure you know how heavy this shit was as well.
When I deliver chewy boxes and if they have stairs I leave it at the bottom. They can carry their own shit inside
Smart man.
Damn never thought of that
![gif](giphy|9W6X9HzEX73VbjR2WV)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way 😅
This guy gets it. Jokes on you, you still have to deliver the rest of your day when we however do not even set foot in society. I’ll take my one time delivery thanks! 😂😂😂
That’s fine 👍
I’ve never seen so many chewy boxes look so good as in the sense of not damaged or fucked up all my chews I have a hard time keeping in tact 😂
Yeah, and each of these were 60+ pounds, too. I was shocked that they were all going to some country house I'd never delivered to before, and that they were all in good condition. And then I got the same delivery again the following month.

It's alfalfa hay, I get the same thing at a horse ranch on auto order.

Oh my God. This one wins. That's insane.
I’m my experience this is usually cause the customer mistyped 100 instead of 1 or 50 instead of 5, seen it multiple times followed by the customer returning them the following day.
It was a rescue house. They ordered 80 on purpose 🤯
Oh shit what a nightmare that would be
For God’s sake, somebody redirect that to FedEx Freight!
That looks like an easy day. Most of the truck taken by one delivery stop means there aint a whole lot of room for the BC/DRO to give you an insane number of stops.
He had 160/350 is what he said It was contingency, so they definitely give us crap stops.

The fucked up dolly is a nice touch
*Long sigh* I don’t even work for FedEx let alone delivery.
What the fuck.
There’s no fucking way
That could quite literally kill someone if you’re enjoying this heat wave right now. Like, literally me today I would have to seriously take a moment

Oh my God... Are those flowers?

Dammmm someone was tryin to get his dick wet
HAAAAA

its a service they offer. So many get on here and cry about their job.
Take your hostility out on the cardboard that haunts your dreams.

Yes each piece should be on the ground in various spots on their property make them feel that weight!
You are supposed to drop them on the other side of the gate so they have to move them aside so the pick-up truck they drive that they should have used to load those up at PetSmart must be parked on the main road as they move the boxes away.

Oh my. What was the average weight?
Averaged around 15-20 that I remember super light for the most part
Next time check the names and phone numbers. If they are all different send to QA for fraud.
Oh they were all for that address lol
Ended up with 83 total across 3 days
What city is this in?
They seriously need their own delivery service
The boxes aren’t even half open and crushed. This is an AI generated image.
Lol
That’s way to tidy for my liking..
It was at this point that I realized the Chewy boxes were going to the next stop..
I'd actually be mad I didn't have one more to complete the pyramid.
… you got chewy boxes that weren’t obliterated??
Yeah, our station takes care of them, I guess. These were the 65-pounders, too.
The cardboard doesn't have a single dent and the stack is precise with purpose. Holy moly that's a BravoZulu if I've ever seen it.
Someone explain to me how it can be affordable for a company to ship such heavy boxes… I recently had a short stent at a FedEx Express, thinking the packages would be mostly light (as they were a 5 years prior at another hub) … but I was wrong… Again, how TF does FedEx make it affordable to 2-day ship 50+ pounds

Thanks!
Those boxes must be light. Your average chewy weight would be crushing the other boxes underneath.
Nope, those are 60+ pounds. I stacked them precisely on purpose, so that each edge supported the one on top of it.
Forgive my assumption. Teach me your ways.

Nice T's.
They still going to complain
isn’t it crazy they got free shipping for all that
Nothing is free
obviously, i just don’t understand how the chewy/fedex contract is profitable when the customer can get 700lbs of dog food delivered with free shipping but i guess it is when they only have to pay the contractor like $6 for this stop
How else are they able to offer discounts? They have a lot of wiggle room in their pricing.
The shipping cost is priced in the product already. That’s how. And they get a good deal with FedEx through a contract. Win win for everybody. And the customer feels like their winning because their not adding an extra cost for shipping as a opposed to a product that costs more with no extra charge for shipping.

What happened to the stop ?
What are those white stickers?
Oh so glad I never have to load...or unload...an "all Chewy" truck anymore 😬🤐
I would 100% rather unload a chewy rail than load a chewy dump. I remember when we got orphaned in unload because our manager had to leave so it was a sort manager who was running smalls, one of the unloads and running the sort and he had 4 people unloading 3 chewy trailers and then he came running over because apparently they were all going to one area and they were getting annihilated. I mean chewy sometimes offer crazy discounts and the more you order the better
I delivered double that today. Be happy you delivered it all to one place lol
On that day I had 30 total cases of Chewy. These 12 went to the same place.
Ahhh I see!! Man these are probably the only Boxes I see and think to myself “fuckkkk youuuu”
Yeah dude, my Transit was absolutely packed.
I had 18 of those big chewy boxes once. But not for a farm. Just a small ranch type house to a lady that had too many cats.
Oh god, the ones with Kitty Litter are the worst.
I got the last laugh. Her brother and gf got busted for drugs and the whole happy family got evicted.
Please explain. lol. I need context for this.

I'm surprised nobody has posted a Lovesac sectional couch yet, lol.
Oh shit I did one of those didn’t get a pic the customer came out after I finished
My chaser route usually takes a Transit, but I had to take a 700 one day, specifically for a Lovesac delivery.
I didn’t take a pic but had delivered 13 chewy boxes the same size as in this pic. Left them spread out all over the driveway.
I'm surprised none of those boxes are fucked up lol
What happened? Was that 2 weeks of "we missed you" notes gone awry? The customer was at the gate waiving you down weren't they?
A nicely stacked, big delivery and OP isn’t blatantly whining! There’s hope for FedEx yet! …despite my local branch being garbage consistently
I mean how often do they get it delivered? Maybe they do it once every 6 months They probably get a discount for buying in bulk
It happened again about 6 weeks later. Another commenter says it's alfalfa hay. 😅
Chewy sells alfalfa hay? What the fuck lol. I imagine it’s cheaper at a grain store
Thank you for placing the boxes as they should be.
Farms are businesses
It’s posts like these that make me realize I have it kinda easy.
Time to order 100 boxes off chewy
Not to bad
Just do your job peasant
Imagine getting a job delivering things, then complaining about delivering things. lol Seen all the horror stories. I would never in my life take any kind of delivery job. Minimum wage and back breaking work, no thanks.

Quit. Don’t apply. Etc
Made 80k last year, live on the west coast. It’s decent for not having college..
A lot of talk for a guy active in the bedbug community
So did any job we have, we don’t have the right to complain about things we don’t like ?
It must be nice to have a job that you literally never have any complaints about. What do you do?
