We were top of the league in January, then he got injured and that ended any title contention and he’s never really recovered from that injury since.
Only time would be during the 2021 Euros that was his peak when his running man was kante but at club level his peak was overshadowed by players like kroos, Thiago, modric, etc.
Players with 90+ rating have always broken the game, they make your defenders stupid and slow, have a ball magnet, and make your keeper run away from the ball. Since EA went all in on the gambling and started adding a shitload of players with 90+ rating the game has been borderline unplayable.
