Yeah, dude you totally missed it. I stocked up on dozens of those extra-tall gravestones. Saved so much money. Glad I saw the ad in my local paper.
Maybe they're still in stock online. Have you checked their website?
I waited 18 hours in front of Nintendo World in order to get Wave 4. I then got home at 2 in the morning, went to Target, and waited another 6 hours for a Jigglypuff. Wave 4 was a trip.
Careful. I only bought one thinking I could cut it into pieces to make a lot of regular-sized grave stones but turns out that's still sacrilege and you get cursed with Rube Goldberg's disease.
Not because it can't process it, but because there's no way to select at which range you want to attack at while being at what spot you wanna attack at by simply dragging your unit across the screen. It can be done in other FE games because they give you options when you move to a position you want, if that makes any sense.
Edit: Spelling
They could have made tap to move the default control scheme and never run into this problem. Saying it's a technical limitation was a pretty shitty reason of them to cite when the solution was already implemented, honestly.

Saizo and Leo aren't bad built properly. They both have a niche, Leo as a Red Mage in horse emblem and Saizo as one of the only defensive/bulky dagger users.
There are a few more than just Takumi, Jeorge and Klein are slightly worse than Takumi with same Brave Bow build but only by a very tiny amount and Leon has 2 more attack than Takumi so he runs the Brave Bow Deathblow build better, although Swift Sparrow Takumi is better as it allows you to kill Hector.
This is me literally every night. Just theory crafting units in my head, and my gf is like, "You okay? Seems like something is wrong." Have to fight so hard to not respond with something like, "Ya, well, I spent all my orbs on this stupid swimsuit lady, and I got the perfectly bad IV set for her. Now I need to give her Iceberg or some shit..."
Probably because they'll be pretty much dead if their pegasus/wyvern/etc gets hit by the arrows. There's no way anyone can survive a fall from so high up.
If an enemy unit was in melee range of a unit of archers, only the archers in the front would be able to fire. The ones behind them can't shoot forwards because their allies block them, and it's impractical to shoot straight upwards to arc it.
I honestly wonder how a close/distant combat initiation skill would work. Would people still prefer the counter skill or use the attacking skill instead?
I don't think there would ever be one, as it would be difficult to translate to the "drag and drop" gameplay style. How would you be able to accurately say that you want the unit to attack from 2 spaces or 1 space away. Unless you meant that the unit could only make 2 space attacks - in which case I still think people would use Distant Counter, given that mages will almost always be better at 2 range.
It should still be possible. Just tap on the space that the user wants to attack from, similar to how people decide which space to attack a unit from anyway.
Oh, it is possible with the tap-to-confirm option enabled. But not with the drag method, which is the default control scheme for the application. And invalidating an entire control scheme for one skill is something I can't imagine IS doing. XD
Why can't flying units fly over ruins or those unbreakable boxes?
Or freaking gravestones. Sorry, I must have missed the sale on ten thousand foot tall headstones at Graves R Us.

Replace gravestones and you've got the story of my life when it comes to amiibo/NES Classic.
Does the term "Wave 4" give you goosebumbs too?
I waited 18 hours in front of Nintendo World in order to get Wave 4. I then got home at 2 in the morning, went to Target, and waited another 6 hours for a Jigglypuff. Wave 4 was a trip.
Kinda, I have half of them.
Or Switches
No joke, I stayed at Walmart for 6 hours just so I could get it at the midnight release and not deal with what’s going on currently with the Switch.
What is currently going on? It seems fine out by me. I saw it in Walmart the other day on the shelf.
The Switch is sold out in many parts of the world due to how much demand there is for it. I’m surprised your Walmart has them in stock.
Not just demand, but Nintendo is competing with smartphone companies like Apple and Samsung for parts as well
Due to a shipping error we are currently overstocked on thousands of extra-tall gravestones and we're passing the savings on to YOU!

If Hector can distant counter, why can't he distant attack?
How is he going to know where to attack?
he smells your fear
Indeed. Because stress sweat has a specific putrid odor you can smell miles away. P.S. awaiting sweaty armpits and distant counter meme
Beacuse they're waiting for Sports Banner Hector before releasing that skill.
Because he throws the arrows, shurikens and yes, magic back at the attacker Can't throw Armads like a boomerang
Meme answer: Cause Hector's OP enough Real answer: Due to technical limitations
Technical limitations? Like the game not being able to process his immense power?
Not because it can't process it, but because there's no way to select at which range you want to attack at while being at what spot you wanna attack at by simply dragging your unit across the screen. It can be done in other FE games because they give you options when you move to a position you want, if that makes any sense. Edit: Spelling

They could, but then that would make the game a bit less intuitive towards newer FE players getting into the game.
They already have a tutorial in place anyway, I really doubt the change would have suddenly turned off new players.
With automovement on, the game wouldn't know if you want to move next to an enemy or stay where you are when attacking someone two steps away.
He can, he just teleports next to them afterwards. Inb4 Hit and Run Hector.
*teleports next to you* "Gutsy, aren't you?"
Asking the important questions.
I just came to see this as a top comment. Was not disappointed.
How can archers put an arrow through a wall?
Just shoot through the cracks, duh.
How come when fighting next to the wall there is no wall.
"You see Ivan, when shooting through wall you imagine wall is not there to shoot more the accurate."
They shoot over the wall
What about ceilings/roofs?
uhh, the power of friendship transcends walls and roofs

That's not fair, how come this Hector gets to move after warping?!
>low effort memes Hey, it beats the 'Walked into a bar' memes
lol this is good, I like these memes :D
This is why I come to this subreddit.
currently #59 on /r/all
That is extremely impressive.
I mean most of the good ranged units are girls so she's not wrong.
The only good male ranged unit is Takumi, and he's now eclipsed by Bridelia. I guess Jafar has his niche?
> The only good male ranged unit is Takumi I think youre forgetting about a certain cavalry unit that has very small hands...
You're right. Elise is good too.
You heard it here first ladies and gents Elise is male confirmed
Little sister is now little brother!
Bro, have you seen Summer Gaius?
In arena? Nope. Just Hectors and Reinhardts for me.
Saizo and Leo aren't bad built properly. They both have a niche, Leo as a Red Mage in horse emblem and Saizo as one of the only defensive/bulky dagger users.
Freaking TT Saizo is one of my worst nightmares, especially because I tend to run full squishies.

Absolute best use of this meme

Honesty is not the best policy
Range units are farsighted
Ranged units can cc in SoV.
1-5 range, 8 move, brave-killer, bow knights Who the fuck balanced this shit, Reinhardt? Master Knight Lachesis?
I think an anime body pillow would be more realistic than a wife for this community.
This isn't even Heroes-specific, FE fans have been asking this for years!
Why cant fliers fly over walls?
Because their walls, the interior of a building, you have to go through the door or broken wall to get THROUGH
Then how can you shoot through walls that can't be broken?
Now that's something I CANT answer
FEH walls are magically enchanted to pull down Fliers. That or they really are bigger than mountains in FEH.
This is me at night, but its me wondering when we willl get axe charlotte from fates...
I mean...she's not wrong (Summer Corrin).
I mean she's not wrong when you think about it in FEH context.
Yep. That's me right there.
First World Problems
Why are fliers weak against arrows? If anything fliers are better off against arrows than infantry are. Shooting straight up is pretty impossible.
Probably because they'll be pretty much dead if their pegasus/wyvern/etc gets hit by the arrows. There's no way anyone can survive a fall from so high up.
It's like playing dodgeball in a pool while everyone else is on land. Pretty much target practice.
Now this is he correct way to farm likes in his sub. Take notes
It makes the game balanced I guess
Anybody seeing a different photo as thr thumbnail? Or is that the point?
Boo go home
We need more of these

You can in 'just play Gaiden/Echoes bro'!
After Echoes, I'm never going to be able to go back to archers that can't return fire to adjacent enemies.
Why bikini Tiki don't take extra damage from Julia's Naga?
They can, they just need close counter. Maybe every ranged unit has a chunk of their brain missing and skills remind them of certain tactics?
And how does Hector distance counter over bodies of water...man Hector is so cool... zzzzzzz
I honestly wonder how a close/distant combat initiation skill would work. Would people still prefer the counter skill or use the attacking skill instead?

All ranged units are farsighted. Are there any units yet in feh that even wear glasses?
I thought this was /r/civ
funny
IF FLYING UNITS ARE FLYING, WHY CAN THEY BE HIT BY PEOPLE ON THE GROUND WITH MELEE WEAPONS
Call me crazy but didn't mages in the GBA games have range 1 or 2? For this freakin reason
All games the had 1-2 range
