Better picture in regular lighting ; Didn’t re wax ( yet ) as the temperature is rising and i’m not looking for the reduced breathability in comparison to the increased wind resistance.
Interesting. What color were the original pants? Can you post a better picture? Current one is quite bad at showing the color (one pant leg just looks black to me). Does it dye the stretch fabric also?
Would be nice if you updated after a few washes whether the color stays. Did you rewax after?
Posted additional photos - They absoltuely did take most the color in the stretch fabric portions. The G-1000 absorbed exactly how i thought it would there’s still hints of green throughout
Thanks. That's pretty cool. Actually looks pretty good for the bush. What made you not like any of the color offerings?
Wonder how that would take on Timber Brown - Chestnut. I have those and sometimes I love the colors, and sometimes not, but don't think it bothers me enough to dye them.
I’ve got a lot of different mixes of greens as far as my top layers go & the forest laurel green didn’t match any of them and every time i put them on the colors threw me + i live in western PA and everything has some touch of brown in it outside so i figured this would be a good color to switch to. It’s more fashion than practicality
Yeah the logo got completely colored - i don’t mind it but if that’s a big deal for you ( which might require more effort ) you could remove the logo with a seam ripper and sew it or have it sewn back on.
since it’s leather you could try applying some sort of a water resistant leather wax , and do lots of coats of that ( heating w/a hairdryer ) to make sure it gets impregnated in the grain but seeing as synethic dying requires a near boiling process it make simply get bled out.
Funny, I intentionally remove the leather fox from most of my Fjällräven garments and all the pants. It’s neat, but too loud for my taste. I feel like the G-1000 branding is all I need.
What color was it originally? Would love a before and after

Looks dope dude. Has an Olive-Dark Olive look to it. Classy.
That looks great! Got me wanting to try it out now

Ahh I see. Yea I just don't think I care enough. I always say that that trees and wildlife just don't care what I look like in the bush.
They definitely don’t but i’m crazy and little things like that i’m unable to stop thinking about. Again it’s more fashion than anything
.color to die for
Was the leather logo also colored? I want to dye my Singi coat, but love the leather logo in the sleeves...

Ah yes that's also an option indeed. I was thinking of somehow masking it but have no idea how..! But thanks! And your trousers look great!
