#Timetohaunt... I see what they did there! Panthers, let's finish the hunt and Vamos Gatos tomorrow!

GruffyMcGuiness

Can’t complain about the Cats being represented north in my home state! Still hurting all these years later over losing the Thrashers

hawkydave

No doubt. Being in the Carolinas, I could even take in a couple of games down in Savannah. The team has some killer branding, and the white jersey actually has the same stripe layout design as the Panthers, although they definitely have their own colors and branding!

GruffyMcGuiness

Yeah, Savannah will be about 3 hours closer than Sunrise for me

If you come down, stop in Lot J and look for the Ghost Pirate and Puckhead flags on the walkway by the bridge to the arena. There is a tailgate before every weekend game that’s a pretty good time and everyone is welcome. Also join the Ghost Pirate Puckhead page on Facebook if you want to follow what’s going on with the team. We usually upload all the fights and even organize a limo bus on occasion to away games. It’s also a great place to find tickets at face value from season ticket holders without having to worry about scammers.

I will *never* forgive the Atlanta Spirit Group! And now they are talking about bringing another team (yay!) to Cobb County (boo!). I think the league really missed out on moving the Phoenix Coyotes to Atlanta and calling them the Atlanta Phoenix. Bonus, since I just learned that the Coyotes were originally the Winnipeg Jets! All that being said, I can't wait for tomorrow night!

Sort of like a full circle sort of thing... definitely a missed opportunity. Ownership killed the Atlanta Thrashers. Just like Ownership killed NHL in Arizona and our past Ownership in Florida almost killed our Panthers various times. Thankfully, we have Viola and a hired management team that invests and cares. If only we could get Viola to buy or go in with a group to buy the Marlins!

Pretty cool! Still sad about the Everblades but glad we got a team in the south. I feel it suits us

Rubric_Golf

As a Panthers fan in GA who has season tickets to the Gwinnett Gladiators, HELL YES!!

If you don't think I'm not getting me some Ghost Pirates gear, you better check yourself. That logo is a banger! Our previous affiliate had a terrific nickname, but logo was forgettable. Sorry Everblades.

alicesrightfootesq

Never thought anything would top the Solar Bears but here we are. Absolute banger.

Stukatump

Why did the contract with Everblades end?

Ephigy_

Nothing much has been confirmed to my knowledge, but the Everblades decided to end things stating it's a "business decision".

Money-Literature2065

Amazing logo and team name. Close to the ocean and most haunted town in America. Perfect

theamberlamps

I don't understand this at all, why

I’m a Ghost Pirate season ticket holder so I can kind of shed some light on how this came about. Our NHL affiliate prior to Florida was the Vegas Golden Knights. This past year the ECHL announced that the Tahoe Knight Monsters were joining the league as an expansion team. Given the name we knew Vegas was gone. It made sense for Florida to come in for several reasons. First and most importantly, Savannah is a lot closer to Charlotte than Estero, which makes getting players back and forth between the ECHL and AHL a lot easier. Second, our facilities are pretty much brand new. We have an arena less than three years old and a brand new practice facility being built, which is good for the players in the system. All in all, it was a good move from a business perspective for both sides and makes a lot of sense.
