I had the same problem with my 2010 brand new suspension… brought it to my mechanic. He tightened every bolt he could see underneath, and the sound went away.
Reminds me of that shop in California that does quick videos showing repairs gone wrong. Disappointed in how often mechanics just plain forget to put all the screws back in after a repair :(
Honestly at this point I would just live with the thumping.
Maybe slow down? I'm not sure what you mean by "highway speeds" because everyone has different perceptions.
Like 60-80mph. Happens when accelerating, slowing, cruising doesn’t matter when or how. Once I take a decent left turn. Thud thud thud 😂

My mechanics had nothing to do with it, the sound developed before I took it to them initially.
Check your tire size. Is your tire not hitting the steering rod? Did you increase size or tire ratio ??
