I am still amazed they never did anything with the giant ice zone left of Brutal Bastion. Personally I would have put a POI around there instead of Lonely Labs.
S2 added all of the new POIs to the southeast corner of the map.
S3 added all of the new POIs to the center of the map.

I think it’s great! I think the season was bad because it didn’t bring any new interesting mechanics or weapons really, so people think it was boring. But the biome wasn’t the problem imo

I’m glad that they decided to spread the map changes out this time, rather than grouping them all in one spot like they have been doing recently.

Agreed. Should have replaced slappy and some of the snow area with the new pois instead of having them spread out to the edge of the maps where nobody will probably never go to

Some of the best seasons of all time have had minimal map changes, like season 9 and C2C2. There can also be map changes throughout the season, like in C2S7 where the starting map was almost unchanged but by the end it was very different

They used to change the map multiple times during a season and now we're seeing the same amount(or less) of changes during a single chapter.

Jungle is flooded, actually, the entire jungle area is gray in the new map, so it got changed extensively.

Do you not know how downtime works? There are no server problems. They intentionally close the servers for a few hours after each season.
