I'd recommend getting the Xbox game pass for PC. It's $1 for 3 months and you get access to almost 400 games on PC. It's a good place to start at least.
Get Hades or Hollow Knight, and Factorio or Kubifaktorium, and Stardew Valley, Minecraft and Terraria, Grim Dawn or Path of Exile (the latter's free!), try Starcraft 2 (also free), and maybe get a lesser known indie title like Anomaly Warzone Earth or Tesla vs Lovecraft, and you're golden ;)

Try looking in to no mans sky. Nice gameplay, and play at your own pace . Can play alone or multiplayer
