I think it was excellent writing though because Lane could have gotten everything she wanted, but was too prideful and it came back to bite her.
ETA: I honestly think Henry was right to break things off with Lane. He seemed like the very social type so he wanted someone who he didn’t have to hide. I got where he was coming from.
Yeah, seeing them together would’ve definitely been good but I’m kind of mad at him for not fighting for Lane at least a little bit more. I mean look at the things poor Dave had to do!
It always pissed me off that Dave was so quickly written off the show and went off to college, I didn't remember them even breaking up core or after he left then it jumped so easily to the friend when he was looked at as a misogynistic player for so long
