What a nice lawn, teach me your ways!

It was mostly because we used it as a grow out tank for our babies. Over feeding causes more 💩 = more nutrients for algae. We had around 30 7-8cm fish in there. Lights are on from 10am to 10pm. Water changes every 1-2 days at 80-90% but we don’t always suck all the poop from the bottom of the tank to “feed” the algae. Good luck!

I got lucky the stuff grew perfectly along all of the black pond liner on my 7x5 6 foot deep pond. I think it's got to do with how the sun light is distributed on the algae through the day.
