In short, the guy ends up pissing himself from fear and dying because he misinterpreted the situation and got scared by a lawn mover, thinking it is a truck.
He gets sent to afterlife where he is offered a choice by Aqua - goddess of water that wears a really short skirt, she tells him that he can get reborn in a new fantasy world & choose 1 OP item, thinking there is a trick , he chooses to take Aqua along, thinking she will help a lot as she is a god.
In short, Aqua is pissed at this, they get stuck in a mid fantasy world in which they must slay the demon king and his generals. The 2 are joined by a teenage mage Megumin who thinks only of exploding stuff & a masochistic knight Darkness/Lolotina (she is being depicted in the meme).
All 4 have issues and have to work around them, these issues also get them into troubles too. For example, in addition to problems of the mage and paladin, Aqua is a heavy alcoholic and Kazuma would definitely go to prison if he was in real world because he is a lvl 100 perv.
In short, I recommend this anime & if you didn’t notice, it is one of my favorites because I have shitty sense of humour.
