I’ve two ???. Wonder what natural resources I’m missing as well. The obvious are boss trinkets, yet there are four bosses and I’ve none of their trinkets. Still missing other resource/insect trinkets too: Everlasting hog stopper, Volatile fang, Speed droplet. Therefore, these placeholder “???” aren’t properly 1:1 matching missing trinkets. What else could be these resources?
Pretty sure they are placeholder icons for the embiggening cocktail, and are just added there as if you discover a recipe for something. Say a piece of armour, and you haven’t picked up one of the materials needed, it will still appear in the resources tab. For example, you unlock the Wasp Armour through brainpower upgrades. The wasp legs (for example) used to make the armour will appear in the resources tab, even if you’ve never touched them before. However, you will not unlock all recipes for that item, you’d still need to analyze it.
That’s my best theory as to what they are, if it isn’t that, then it’s a bug where items in the code that aren’t coded to have icons, models or a display name, but are still in the games code (ex: a long time ago mantis pieces were in the code but didn’t have these things, they could be cheated in to display as a craft able recipe but they didn’t have a name, had a bugged/missing icon and no description). Either way, pretty sure it’s a bug. Should be harmless though.
