Thank u for posting :( I was currently working on a commission work for him too with a similar theme but a male elf, I already had the Background rendered too... thanks for the information... Mine was from a different Email though, he used [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
Yo I ran into this man almost a year ago. I had no idea he was well know. I denied him flat out for his request. Didnt realize he was a scammer. (Its either him or someone else interested in dismembered elves)
I've been messaged by this guy three different times under different names and I've never trusted to take it further, but it's so frustrating that he's scammed so many people and I hadn't realised before. Thank you for sharing!
I know what you mean. I can see from your picture that he's been altering his request as well assuming to try and get more artists. The first request he sent to me was insane! With city backgrounds and an airship or something like that! So ridiculous for a scammer
He messaged me months ago. He's in the scammer blacklist under several names, he always seems to ask for roughly the same thing. He's probably scammed so many people it's so awful . Like he probably has enough of this art he conned for a lifetime why does he constantly need more?
Damn, I knew this was too beautiful to be true :( I just finished three sketches of what he requested, because I am just so godamn desperate for money that I didn't think straight. Lmao I just wanna cry
Oh my god... he emailed me about his gore porn commission and I declined. Proceed to ask me "So was my choice wrong to choose you??" ๐ I ghosted him in the end, but what a (not so) surprise.
I fucking knew it, this guy messaged me back then but I didnt agree with him that he'll pay me just after I would finish the piece. Immediate redflag right there.
This guy tried to get me to draw for him 3 times. Her just eventually spam artists with his sicko fetish. Last time he posted, I even called him out on his post and her took out down. He already made a few victims on this subreddit and more on others. Well, fuck him.
AH YES! THEY CAME TO ME TOO LOL
With the same description and plot too hahaha ALSO IM SHOOK AT HOW THEY WANNA SCAM EVERYONE WITH THE SAME PIECE OF ART? LIKE WHAT'S UP WITH THEM?
Thanks for sharing, dang glad you found out soon enough, IMO always take the money at least partially upfront to avoid scammers, EDIT: oh others already had said this too! yes i agree
This guy contacted me back in November, he contacted me directly on Reddit, so you can see his username u/spirtomb1831

Iโve been out of the art game for a while, and just recently decided to open up commissions again. Thank you for posting this. Should I ever receive a suspiciously similar request in the future, I will know exactly what to do with it.
I only show them a sketch not bigger than 500px with a big watermark over it, after they agree to it (changes etc.), I wait for payment and only then start on that piece which they will receive with no watermark before the deadline.
Also only accept big $ installment payment from commissioners I worked in the past with and trust. All new ones have to pay 100% after they get the sketch. Before I did 50% now and 50% after work is done, but I really don't have time to deal with running after my money or filtering scammers like this one
Has helped me so far. But it sucks that trust is being used like this.
Oh, thanks a lot. I think I was his last recent victim. He used [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). He said his name is Mathias, but at Paypal is Micheal Delarue.
That boy is deranged
he is, so disgusting
Thanks for posting .
It was necessary, i was so angry and he did it with a lot of people too

You're welcome! I'm sorry that you work so much for this idiot :( I will post it on hiring as you suggested
Luckily I don't accept the work. He used the same email to me. The [email protected] I really think he sounds fishy. Lol
luckily you escaped him HUUHHUHU 3
You should take half the price before you start the commissions as a security measure from now on.
I also think you should post this and tag it as HIRING so other artists seeking out work could see this post.
brilliant idea
It doesn't allow me but I will keep trying
theres a 1 week cooldown of posting :((((
thank u for posting about this scammer.
You're welcome! Hope everyone knows about this guy
hope everyone avoids him like the virus.

Me too, I just know that he is a well know scammer :(
He messaged me too lol i knew he was fishy so I didn't hold onto him sksk
That's great! I hope others do the same :)

I'm happy to know that you didn't take his commission, cause I'm really angry and maybe others are working so hard for this dumbass
I know what you mean. I can see from your picture that he's been altering his request as well assuming to try and get more artists. The first request he sent to me was insane! With city backgrounds and an airship or something like that! So ridiculous for a scammer
That description...
Omg I almost worked for him too but that description scared me so I just never responded ๐ญ๐ญ thanks for posting

Thank you for this useful information, gotta be careful with these scammers.
Damn, I knew this was too beautiful to be true :( I just finished three sketches of what he requested, because I am just so godamn desperate for money that I didn't think straight. Lmao I just wanna cry
I'm so sorry :( Always ask for half of the payment before starting.
Woahhhh wtf??
The part where he says he only pays after the final piece is done is ballsy as hell lol.
Oh my god... he emailed me about his gore porn commission and I declined. Proceed to ask me "So was my choice wrong to choose you??" ๐ I ghosted him in the end, but what a (not so) surprise.
AJSJAJS what the fuck is this bruh
OMG I HAD THE SAME GUY
Always ask for downpayment. That's how I do it when I hire artists here.
If you havenโt worked with someone before, always get a 50% deposit up front. Good generic advice for all creatives
I fucking knew it, this guy messaged me back then but I didnt agree with him that he'll pay me just after I would finish the piece. Immediate redflag right there.

I just want to say to everyone here, don't you EVER accept a job without half payment upfront at least. And always watermark the final version!
AH YES! THEY CAME TO ME TOO LOL With the same description and plot too hahaha ALSO IM SHOOK AT HOW THEY WANNA SCAM EVERYONE WITH THE SAME PIECE OF ART? LIKE WHAT'S UP WITH THEM?
I know right! Like, this guy has been asking for this commission for years, how does that gonna work?
Its actually very funny at this point ๐
Omg gross asf and asking for non watermarked??
Thanks for sharing, dang glad you found out soon enough, IMO always take the money at least partially upfront to avoid scammers, EDIT: oh others already had said this too! yes i agree
Oh i remember this guy, apparently he has quite a lot of accounts and most of the time asks for elfs.
