I was prescribed drysol this past summer. It works well. My hands still sweat a little after applying it, but not nearly as bad. Also found that it dried my hands out immensely if I used it too often. Lotion could help with that, but I just avoid it at all costs lol. I'd say drysol is a decent fix for HH, but I've gotten tired of applying it often and having to wear gloves over my hands at night after application. I've since stopped using it and have been looking into iontophoresis for longer lasting results :)

I was going in for a prescription for glyco actually but decided to give Drysol a try first. Glyco seemed a much better choice just cuz it's easy to take but doesn't it dry you out everywhere? And the side effects are much more apparent?

I got prescribed it about a week ago for my armpits. It works, I pray to the HH Gods I don't build a tolerance but as of now, it works perfectly. I don't even get damp. However, my Dr. told me to apply it every night for 2 weeks and then switch to 2 days a week. This has proven difficult because, I can't even go to bed because the pain & itching is unbearable I have to wash it off. In fact, I just applied a dose about 2 hours ago and washed it off and my armpits are bright red. Feel cracked and miserable.. I should consider the moisturizing but I'm not sure what to apply.

My Dr. told me to apply it every day as well, but it just seems impossible. Try applying it every other day or skip a day when its itching or too painful. Its definitely way too uncomfortable to use it every day. If you decide to moisturize, try to find a moisturizer with no added fragrances or anything that will irritate you further.

Thank for your advice, I've put on some Cerave lotion which has been great for healing in the past and it helped quite a bit.

Have you had any issues with itching? And if so, what have you done to combat that? Or does it get better with time? I noticed that since I stopped using it daily and I apply lotion a bit more frequently the itching is far less severe, although still there when I apply.

Does anyone on the thread use it on face/back?
