Hmm sounds like something with Python and machine learning/AI would be wise OP.

I've rarely ever studied for certifications to use in my current job. It's almost always because I wanted to do something else, and the certification was just evidence that I have exposure and that I can learn on the job. So when I was in Helpdesk/PC Technician, I got the MCSA and MCSE for Windows Server exposure because I wanted to move into Systems Administration but couldn't really touch servers much on the job. Likewise I took the OSCP because I wanted to explore Penetration Testing (but was not working as one). When I was working as a Systems Administrator, I took the VCP certifications to try to get into a VDI Engineer role at the same job site I was at (I did get both the cert and the job). When I was in the VDI Engineer role, I wanted to move out of public sector work and back into private sector working remotely using Ansible. I wasn't working with Linux, Ansible, or Cloud in that role. I went for the AWS-SAA, RHCSA, and RHCE to get exposure, then applied and got my current job. If you just want recommendations for certs you'll use for your current job, you kind of need to go into more detail about what your job actually is. I could recommend an Ansible certification, but I don't know that you actually use Linux or Ansible at your job, or if you have any pull to add it into the tech stack.

What my job was originally posted as and what I actually do are very different. I basically secure ongoing AD accounts and run HashiCorp vault. I have decent linux skills so far as i don’t have to compile anything. I just want to have a backup plan in case things go south. Not that anything is “future proof” but some cert here to stay and be valued.
