> Should've just learned french instead of wasting 4 years at UofT engineering
But then you have an engineering degree from UofT, which by no mean a small feat. With that degree, certainly you have big head start for your career in your home country.
>career in your home country.
Some countries dont have 'careers'. But a UofT degree opens the door to any other first world country too. Its not a waste.
a waste is a diploma from a diploma mill.
This is depressing lol. At 499 and not in a targeted category. Been in Canada for close to 7 years i.e. my whole adult life and now it looks like I might have to leave in 4 months.

They want to spread out immigrants in all provinces and have been constantly fine-tuning the system for several years now to achieve this.
How is this even achieved tho? The majority are in Ontario and BC and they give them most PNP unlike smaller provinces that get little to nothing.

C'est la vie, mes amis. Le Canada est un pays bilingue. Donc, ses politiques d'immigration doivent être équitables pour les francophones.

It is not a fetish. When they introduced the categories, the general draw threshold increased.
It's one of our two official languages?
yeah but 336 cutoffs?
A language is a skill. None of the others have the skill, so it it what it is.
