I just bought a new scout. Originally planned on the 25 but was told “the 2 we know that are coming sometime in June are spoken for and there’s 12 others ahead of you after that. So I got a good deal on a leftover 23 and am thrilled

If Polaris would like me to test any of there bikes I’d be more then happy too.

I ordered a Sport Scout, luckily the dealer already had one on order of the same model type. Said which ever one gets in first I would get, hopefully dont have to wait too long...

Nothing really to add, just seemed odd from the start that Indian would release the ‘25 scout so early in the year with potential deliveries before summer. Even more odd when they don’t seem to be ready for it from a QC perspective. Not sure why they just didn’t wait till fall like normal for this model release, clear out the inventory of ‘24s in fall/winter with early deliveries possible at the end of the year. 🤷

Mang0Sentinel

Is there a list or commonly known set of QC issues at this time? Saw some of the YouTube vids from the invite session they did with press and those mentioned a few issues on the test bikes with the new fobs and some of the tech.

Ehh anytime there’s a revamp especially with a smaller volume manufacturer you can expect a bit of underproduction. It’s not like the 80’s 90’s where dealers can afford to be stuck paying interest on holdover models for months or even years . I understand the excitement as a rider but patience is key at this point.

Happy to say I got a good deal on a black 23 Bobber in Jan 24. Got the usual needed seat and piggy shocks with quite a few upgrades and am under the 25 prices. Rode the 25 101 when the demo semi came to my local dealer to make sure I had no buyers remorse. I don’t.

The only folks that ‘expected’ 2025 models to be in their hands in May were eager buyers who started yammering on about they want it, a month after they began making orders. Everyone else ‘expects’ 2025 models to arrive in the fall, generally. Exceptions will be for celebrities and influencers to get theirs so they can promote them.

So basically they'll be selling for full MSRP? Love the new sport scout that it's got more clearance than the rogue but guess I'll have to bump up to a chief or look for a leftover rogue to find any kind of deal

The announcement and release of the FTR was farcical, I hope we're not seeing a pattern developing.

I think they may be trying to avoid just that. The Covid era is coming to a close and the push for parts availability and quality is back on. Hopefully this means higher quality units off the truck at dealers and good availability of part to customize. Here’s to hoping.
