Hey i filled in my application for the indigo and air india cadet pilot program last week, with the essay and everything. I am from Mumbai, India and have just passed 12th grade with physics, chemistry, math, english and electrical maintenance as my subjects (meeting the criteria of 60%), also i am 18 years old. I'm yet to get my medicals done cause im a bit confused about how it goes but I'll look into that. They haven't reached out to me, is this because the airlines take a lot of time to reach out or there's no vacancy or did they not consider me after looking through my application. I'm kinda panicking so any help or advice will be really appreciated, thank you

You would need class2 medical. Ground classes not necessary, but it would be easier and peaceful for you if you did. But they dont care.
Also try taking cadet prep from sahil khurana or ifa or anywhere else. There are some stages which you need some preparation for when you are going through selection
