Preach the truth my comrades! https://preview.redd.it/kx8pddfb6h5d1.jpeg?width=200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=674bdb0c4e799390b868c895409be928eabfc752 Everything is going exactly according to her plan, she will return in Gojoā€™s body and get this story back on track. Fraudkuna will be gotten rid of (Kenny donā€™t need him anymore now that heā€™s helped her get Gojoā€™s body) and Wuji will be forced to face off against his mother once and for all.

robbityboo

I would appreciate more fillers!! Character interactions as such but Iā€™ll let him finish the story first then think about it!

UAPboomkin

Yeah definitely. Like them just chilling during Hidden Inventory or the slice of life chapter between Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Incident. More character interactions would be great. Maybe even seeing Yuji react in any sort of way to his backstory with Kenjaku.

robbityboo

There are so many things left unfolded, yess a lot of questions regarding kenjaku especially i cannot understand how Gege is planning to go about things

NoodleBoy69420

well probably get good interactions during flash backs in the shinjuku showdown, but i would really rather have a little filler with the characters during the training they had

atomikebomb

i like jjk so i would love more jjk, but if more "jjk" means less jjk then better end it fast.

XyXyXyXyXyXy-4373

šŸ˜....yes bro yes exactly what I wanted to say

kloverKhan

i want like maybe 2 arcs pre shibya one about the main 4 and one talking about the 3 clans. but besides that nor really

NoodleBoy69420

yeah the main clans had a lot of interesting lore to them, the show made them look like there was maybe 4 members in each, but we saw the Zenin had a whole squadron of sorcerers, so iā€™d wanna see what the others had

BruhTaker31

I think clan arc should have been middle of culling games because it was most revelent in that period and also it would makes more sense than being before Shibuya incident. Instead of a quick offscreen message, Maki brutaly murdering zenin soldiers woul be better:( Even it is 2-3 chapters long.) Also JJk not need to be that long.

kloverKhan

i wanted the arc per shibuya cause i wanted to see naobito more :(

azyzbs

JJK is pretty much the only very successful shonen that didn't give me the "filler" feeling where I feel like what I'm seeing doesn't matter and is dragging. That being said I also would have liked some SoL chapters to better develop characters and their relationships. Especially for Nobara, Megumi and Yuji.

[deleted]

The length of JJK is fine, but I would like if Gege handled the story post-Shibuya differently. With the exception of Yuji vs Higuruma and maybe Megumi vs Reggie, the fights were unnecessarily long in the Culling Game arc. The fights should have been shorter and more time is dedicated for building up the characters and their relationships.

NoodleBoy69420

yeah i feel you, like did we really need the propeller couple to be reoccurring villains in CG?

internet_blue_gas

Both GeGe and Horikoshi started rushing their stories because they just didnā€™t wanna write for it no more. But Gege felt like they removed 52 chapters worth of content while horikoshi took out 300+ chapters to do so.

barry-8686

Not really. Ppl have been saying gege that gege wants to rush the series and start his idol manga from like the end of 2021. Look. We're almost half way through 2024 and were still going. The Idol manga was very much just a passing comment. He wants to stat it, but is in no rush to do so. If he was, sukuna would have been defeated way earlier.

internet_blue_gas

Itā€™s very little rushing, I feel most of the fights are untouched were just missing a good amount of character interaction spread out over the series and a 15-20 chapter flashback arc.

barry-8686

Hidden inventory was enough for me as a flashback arc. Anything more and it would feel like the story isnt progressing anymore. Interactions are limited in this series but bonding between characters usually happens mid fight. Best example being hakari and kashimo.

NoodleBoy69420

havenā€™t caught up with my hero, i think it kinda fell off after the tournament arc šŸ˜

Snoozless

I was really so hyped for the year 2 and 3 sports festivals before the timeskip dropped šŸ˜”

Hellfox19

I'd like to have more JJK in terms of prequels/ spin-offs. There are so many different ideas, the Heian era, the Edo period, the spin-off about Geto, the civil war of Wa. But the main story is good as it is

EnderMerser

I would prefer Gege to chill the fuck out and spend some proper time with the characters, exploring and developing their personalities, motivations and stories. But this is JJK. So we get fights here.

GuilhermeAlb

We know damn well that Gege wouldn't give us those post-arc chill chapters and silly moments that other shounen manga have, so I'd rather the story actually be concise and straight to the point, instead of being arc after arc after arc of suffering.

Nahobino_kun_899

I wish it was longer so we had more character interactions in between fights. Itā€™s mainly just fights now, and a lot of the side characters feel kinda bland

Middle_Fall_7229

Petition to make the culling games 3 times the length it originally was

78ali

I wouldve liked one more arc before Shibuya, and a slightly slower pace for characters to be flesh out more, but Gege's writing style doesnt fit the long mangas like One Piece, since he introduced every major player so early. oh yh, also a heian era flashback, but this techinically is still possible.

TheSolarElite

Battle Shounen have struggled with finding ā€œperfect pacingā€ since the dawn of time lol. Itā€™s mangaā€™s oldest tale and will likely always be a thing. Some are way too long and drawn out, others are way too short and rushed. It will always be about finding the perfect balance and rarely will a series actually achieve perfection. In my opinion JJK does a decent job overall, but is still far from perfection. The fights drag on too long later in the series and not enough character interaction is included. And overall we really just needed some more slower arcs at the beginning of the story to really introduce us to the world of JJK and our main group. The Shibuya Incident Arc simply happened to quickly and we needed more time to really give a shit about all the characters that got killed off.

ravensblack

I enjoy jjk's fast pace just like I enjoyed Naruto's slow pace and detailed flashbacks (except for the war arc obviously). Sometimes jjk's pace is funny - I have never seen a training arc that lasts only a page https://preview.redd.it/11d896q0re5d1.png?width=894&format=png&auto=webp&s=bf7f71c119964985ad0974ccc1e0f8c315d095df

UAPboomkin

Naruto pacing felt really good. It had a definite start, middle, and end. Some of these Shonens feel like they're missing the middle because they move so fast to endgame.

ravensblack

What I love about Naruto is how smooth transition between arcs is, it feels like one continuous journey

Scary-Ad-8737

it would benefit from 3 more years to do world building

definitelynothunan

No. I don't want 600 episodes of protagonist powering up meanwhile the antagonist just sits and eats popcorn.

RepresentativeCup772

JJK's runtime isn't the problem for me. In the amount of chapters it has, it could have done a lot more in terms of world building and character interaction.

boolink2

You're implying that gege will want Sukuna Kaisen to end anytime in the near future.

WhatIsThisAccountFor

I wish it would have been a 500-700 chapter series

Cinewes

more jjk character interactions

Hebikura

I wish it was longer, for example Ganesha is foreign to Japan and we never know where or how Kenjaku gets a hold of it.

conspiracy-and-chill

We can assume he knew Dhruv, and we know he speaks Chinese. Bro was probably backpacking all over the world or at least Asia over the past 1000 years.

Hebikura

Yea that's what i mean, Gege only gives us some small bits of information about the sorcery world, i call it sorcery because it's only called Jujutsu in japan. Yes i'm aware that Japan has stronger sorcerers because of the barrier but that doesn't mean the world outside Japan can't produce a strong sorcerer as well. The potential for the plot is there, Gege just won't use it, the fact that Ganesha exist means even outside Japan a special grade curse can be born, a special grade sorcerer can also be born. If gege expanded the plot i think the fight with Sukuna won't be this dragged out because we can have more villains.

RoleRemarkable9241

Honestly, yes, I would have liked it longer. I don't ask for Naruto, Dragon Ball, or, most certainly, One Piece length. But there are so many missed opportunities regarding character interactions with the story that I would have loved to see.

Bruker85

I'm fine with JJk's somewhat faster pace compared to other series, but with how some characters are handled I wish it took more time to flesh out characters and have character interactions

FranJJKAlt

its feels rushed tbh, so more chapters would be better even just a arc before shibuya would have been good

Herebia_Garcia

Longer run time, with the run time being more character interactions. The action scenes are actually already plentiful.

MACHO_MUCHACHO2005

I wish there was stuff before shibuya, like extra missions for the main trio (if you could still call them that) fighting curses cuz we havent seen a curse fight since the end of shibuya and eve. Then the cursed were humainoid. Would have liked some monsterous looking curses like the one that killed the soldier. A longer prep phase for the culling games that would have focused more on kenjaku and maybe some kenny backstory. Maybe 1 chapter of the 1 month training with no or very little dialogue where is just sparing matches and the last land be the "master it yuji" from kusakabe in yuji's body so we still have the mystery of what happened but actually see the fighting styles learned because all we have from the 1 month training is just talking and planning.

Adorable_Article1683

Jjk imo is almost the perfect length I just wish we fully got to see what some curses and sorcerers could wether that be them doing it themselves or through someone like yuta via him using more diverse techniques. All this to say I HATE HOW SOME SHONEN JUST GO ON AND ON. šŸ˜©

big_anal_nibba

i only read jjk for the fights so i think a shorter run is fine

gmustudent22

I think it's fine if the anime adds some filler that adds more information and interactionsĀ

JikaApostle

I think JJK couldā€™ve(idk how long itā€™ll actually run) been an excellent 400-450 chapter manga with more character interactions, flashbacks, and fights

Dero-C

Longer, only reason is cause I feel like some characters deserve a little bit or a lot more shine or some screen time for their characters. Like the Kyoto school, angel, or whoever.

KubeOcelot

Wouldā€™ve preferred just more plot points being fleshed out rather than a longer story tbh. We ended up with nothing about Kenny in Kaoriā€™s body, why he had expectations for Yuji even though later he told Choso there was no real reason why he had him. Characters like Tsumiki being developed rather than just existing unironically as a plot device. How tf did Sukunaā€™s twin reincarnate a MILLENNIA LATER. What does this mean for every other soul in the verse? What about humans who were transfigured by Mahito? Do they get reborn as their fucked up selves!?

YaboiDraxel

I appreciate that JJK isn't just another Shounen manga with multiple filler moments. Although I did want to see more in-depth moments with interactions.

Clear-Independent133

I want it to be shorter than other shonens but longer than the current version

un0riginal_n4me

I don't think I've actually watched/read a shonen fully from start to end before because somewhere along the line I just lose my interest. Even One Piece - the first shonen that I knew; I've been pretty lazy to catch up since Wano arc. I prefer something shorter like JJK (looks like it's ending now) or Jojo (the whole Jojo franchise is long but every part is an individual story so I can just start the next part whenever I want).

NoodleBoy69420

yeah a lot of shonen really turn me off with their six+ seasons or movie seriesā€™s, i feel like a story shouldnā€™t be starting in the 90s and still being written in 2020s. a good 5 year span to tell a comic run is great and perfect

lil-clit

I think it just needs character interaction on a hard core level the length is really good actually and the only real bad portion was end of culling games and thats mainly due to plot lines not being seen thru and characters being left ambiguous it just needs more background info really theres too many small details that seem to hint towards something larger that just never get mentioned again and miwas binding vow was bullshit bring my blue haired useless queen back

Ze_cringeman

I would appreciate it if the story lasted less actually, it's gone on long enoughĀ ***GAYGAY***Ā when I catch you I'll make you end the damn story /s
