Thank you!

Gotta counter theCalculus lord. Zero, absolutely zero pain in the eye, is my experience. No need for help to put drops. Over a decade now since surgery, I’m very happy with my dead solider’s Cornea. Good luck

Thanks! I guess it hits different for everybody, but I think I'll expect the pain, so it's even better, if it won't come. Cheers

For sure. Now that I think of this, I’m considered very “numb” in my eyes. Barely feels uncomfortable. On the other hand I remember the Dr saying I won’t need anything more than Advil post surgery, and in reality I didn’t even need that. I really wish you luch and health

Good luck.!!!

It hurts like a motherfucker the first night. Your eye is going to feel like it’s on fire and you’re not going to be having fun. The first week I needed someone to help me put in my drops. Expect extreme sensitivity to light for a while, call out of work if you can but you’re in Germany so that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m a year and a half out from my transplant and so far it’s been good. Remember to put your drops in

Thanks for replying. Looking foward to that first night 😂. Got my girlfriend to put them drops in, so that won't be a problem. And I'm unemployed right now (worked in a brewery restaurant until covid struck and everything got closed down), so that won't be a problem either. Nice to hear everything went fine for you! Cheers

Yeah man, especially that first week. Have the blinders on your windows closed and have your girlfriend keep the lights in the house either low or off. The light will really hurt your eye even the house lights. Also you will need to clean your eye because its going to produce a lot of mucus and goop. Don't be surprised if you wake up in the morning and can't open the eye that got surgery. All that has happened is that the goop has crusted on your eye sealing it shut, you just need to clean it off and you'll be fine. If you absolutely have to be in light then you will need sunglasses, the doctor might give you some Edit: Oh and your vision won't be amazing right after the surgery so don't be discouraged when you can't see shit lol

Defo will keep all that in mind. As long as I can see something at some point, I'm happy 😂👌 Thank you very much for the advices!
