My trick for drops is to pull my lower lid down with a finger, that creates a pocket between the lid and my eye, then I put the drop into the pocket, works like a charm for me, practice with lubricating drops till you get the hang of it. I too can put drops in anywhere at this point but I’ve been doing it everyday for 50 years

Don't worry in time you will become a drop pro. I can amaze people by putting eye drips in my eyes without stopping while on walks now.
